The stereo is broken, i was told I would have to pay to have someone come look at it and fixe it. Why would I have to pay when it was still under warranty. Received a recall notice for a part, my trailer was at a site out of town, found a local guy who could fixe it. He did an amazing job. Now Guarantee is trying to tell me I owe them for coming out to fix my RV. They were never there, they did not fix the part. According to the recall notice there would be no charge to the customer, so why is Guarantee trying to charge me. Go anywhere else but Guarantee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When my wife and I were looking for a travel trailer this Keystone Hideout 176BH caught our eye at Gander Mt. RV in Baxter Mn. We liked its simplicity and colors so we purchased it in late July 2021 and left Minnesota for Utah 2 days later. This purchase turned into a nightmare almost immediately! By the time we got to our destination, interior trim pieces were already falling off, there were metal shavings coming from who knows where showing up on the floor near the crookedly installed power center, the water pump was horribly noisy, we started to notice things like paneling staples showing and taped seams that had the tape peeling off, and the screws that hold the strings for the window blinds were falling out, not to mention the refrigerator leaking water onto the MDF (Medium Density Fiber not real wood) boards below it, the MDF swelled up and had to be replaced. Then while we were in Utah we got a phone call from Gander Mt. asking us to bring in our new purchase so they could fix THEIR list of problems with our camper that they made absolutely NO mention of whatsoever during the sales process ! Nice surprise for us! So, I told them what I had found so far and that I was going to inspect every inch of this thing and was not happy with them withholding their discovery of problems during the purchase! Our opinion of this camper and Gander was dropping fast! Upon my inspection I found more metal shavings under our sons bed in the area where the power center and water pump are located, and metal shavings along with a large pile of sawdust in the access area of the propane burner for the refrigerator (they sold us a fire just waiting to happen!) Shortly after their phone call to us, our then 2 year old son stepped out onto the first step where his leg went into the gap between the camper and the back of the step and he fell down with his leg still trapped in the gap! Luckily he didn’t break his leg! I immediately called both Gander and Keystone, neither one seemed concerned with this issue and refused to do a simple repair to make the steps safe. All in all our experience with Keystone and Gander Mt. which has been since purchased by Campingworld has been horrendous troubled with poor quality workmanship, lack of transparency in sales, substandard repairs and non existent customer service, a campingworld assistant manager told me “We aren’t going to do anything more for you”so I told him “Get out of my camper or I’ll throw you out!”I have not been back there since . I won’t even consider it, and will never buy or recommend that anyone else buy a Keystone camper or deal with Campingworld whose CEO’s motto is “If you’re not happy, I’m not happy. “ That’s an untrue statement if I’ve ever heard one! We liked the floor plan. The problem is that the InCommand Control system is junk. It has flickered and worked intermittently since we bought it. The warranty is useless because they will not honor it and will not fix anything while on warranty. The quality control at the factory is dismal. The bottom panel on the outside had to be re inforced or it was about to blow off in the wind. The cabinetry was coming apart around the fridge because the factory people had driven in some long brad nails that did not go into any solid wood in behind. These are all things I had to fix myself . The first time I washed it, I almost cut my hand on a row brad nails that had been driven from the inside out thru the fiberglass wall to the outside. I did make the dealership fix that. The dealership, Fraserway RV in Airdrie Alberta was totally incompetent, leaving me to fix most things on my own.

What a nightmare! My husband drove 800 miles each way to get floor plan I wanted. We have full cover, electric hook ups and sewer on our own property where it is stored. We live in our house NOT trailer. Take it out for two days. Leaks so bad mattress soaked. Took 2 months to schedule repair then told sorry we don't show you scheduled. Had email confirmation. Found someone closer to fix immediately. Took out for 3 week trip may 2022, issues, issues and more issues. Hubby fixed many, others repaired upon return. Now June 2023 going on 3 week trip. 2nd day extreme water leak and overwhelming sewer smell. Ok bought brand new, used one time 2 days in 2021 major problems then 3 weeks 2022 major problems now starting June 2023 trip with more major problems. The price of this travel trailer should not have this many problems. Keep in mind on concrete slab covered on our property. This travel trailer is well protected from the elements... I MEAN NO HELP FROM MANUFACTURER I EVEN PAID BIG BUCKS FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY. EVERY ASPECT OF OWNING THIS KEYSTONE COUGAR 25RDS HAS SUCKED! Think many times about buying a keystone which is "supposed " to be higher quality with the quality just buy the cheap other brand travel trailer most likely better quality

What a piece of garbage! We used to own a 2016 250 TRS Outback and it was great. We downsized last year to a smaller, newer trailer, mistakenly thinking the quality would be similar. Boy we’re we wrong! Some of the problems we’ve had include both tire cover partially tearing off while towing, the balances over the windows pulled off the walls, the rear stabilizer stopped functioning, and now we can’t get the bed to slide out. Don’t but this trailer, or any other newer Keystone products. They don’t build quality and they don’t support the garbage they build.

On the outside cubbie hole under the head of the bed was 1 inch full of water. So many spots where rats have gotten in. Locks have broken. So I've been locked out. Had to drill through the lock ruined the hardwear. No safety until replaced. Couch has ripped at the seam. Too many items to list.. Just very disappointed. I've never written a negative comment until now.

This thing is falling apart at the seems. The defects are too many to name. Heating, electrical, structural. Keystone dealers want nothing to do with repairs. Still under warranty! Enough said for now. Thoroughly check through unit if your thinking to purchase. In short, I got a lemon!
