I waited two years before posting a review on our 2021 Jayco 16RK since buying new in July of 2021. We have camped over 75 nights in this trailer and towed it over 7500 miles. This trailer has been outstanding. It is well made and has not had any issues. The propane regulator had to be replaced due to a recall but that has been it. It is a small trailer and is extremely comfortable for my wife and I. We often camp for up to ten nights at a time and never feel cramped. The interior and exterior design is very nice. Jayco's customer support has been very helpful in answering any of my questions or providing more detailed information and drawings. The trailer is very easy to tow and is extremely stable at any speeds I have driven. I have taken it on many curved and steep mountain roads with no problems. We love this trailer. I was very nervous about the quality of these things but so far it has exceeded all expectations. Our Jayco experience has been very good.

This is our 3rd travel trailer, first Jayco. I am extremely disappointed in the JayFeather 24RL. First time we climbed into bed, the molding next the pillows fell off on both sides. Moldings are fasted only with tiny staples which pull out very easily. Some wiring in the underbelly was never hooked up from the factory. The AC will not even come close to cooling the camper if it's anywhere near the 90 degree mark and you're in the sun. Which is the case in Kansas most all of the 3 months of summer. So essentiallly forget summer camping. Replaced the original Furrion when it was 2 months old. The new one doesn't work any better than the old one. Dealers have told me they hear the same complaint from Jayco owners almost every day. Also since it has to run continually since it can't keep up with set point, then the coils freeze up, and pretty much shuts down any possible air movement. Slide out has leaked rainwater on 4 occasions in a hard rain. Right now it's in for warranty repairs, and it's going on 2 weeks just to get authorization from Indiana for repairs which by the dealer's own acknowledment should be covered under warranty. They submitted the request for authorization within 2 days and still have not received any word from Indiana. How would somebody in Indiana know better than the service man who is standing there looking at it, as to whether it needs repair under warranty or not? I would never again buy a Jayco camper. Terrible workmanship, inferior AC system, and nearly worthless warranty system. It does tow nicely after I spent an additonal $700 for a good Equalizer hitch which is not offered by Jayco. They only offer the cheaper brands.

This is a perfect Travel Trailer for a family with young kids or for a couple who would like extra space. It's light and bright inside with all the windows, LED lights and roof vents. It has the Farmhouse design with off-white cabinets combined with a dark chocolate brown cabinets which we really like. It has a comfortable Serta queen mattress in the master bedroom with a sliding door for total privacy. The bedroom has a good amount of closet and cabinet space. The trailer has nice storage both in and outside. There is a little bench at the entry which is helpful when taking off shoes. The reclining chairs with swivel tables are great to relax in, watch TV or to use while working on the computer. This is a great design and we've been very pleased with it. The only thing we would change is to have more head space in the bunk beds. We noticed this was a common design though in most models we looked at. It works great for kids though. Our youngest loved her bunk bed space and it's a full size bunk rather than a twin size so there's extra room.

My wife and I shopped for months to find our ideal bunkhouse camper. Spent a ton of time comparing and researching various options and we fell in love with the Jay Feather 24bh. We were elated to get a 2021 model new off the showroom floor late last year…..and that’s where our nightmare began. We have had nothing but issues with both the coach and Jayco customer service. EVERY single trip has uncovered a new problem and we’ve quite literally had it in the shop more nights than we’ve spent in it. As this is our 4th trailer we expected the usual break in issues but this was far, far worse than anything we could have imagined. Plumbing, electrical, leaking water on inside walls, bad parts, bad construction, you name it and it’s broken. After 5 trips (including a road trip to the desert in which the AC unit went out) we have said enough is enough and have traded it in for a Grand Design. Totally inexcusable in every sense for a camper that is not even 1 year old yet to have these types of issues. Tried calling Jayco for support and they basically told us to pound sand. Dealership has been great but we will NEVER consider anything in the Jayco line of products again. They have lost a customer for life. Everything’s was covered under warranty but the hassle of dealing with this Jayco product has taken the fun out of camping for us and we decided to go in another direction. Do yourself a favor and avoid, avoid, avoid this unit. Your future self will thank you
