This RV is very spacious, homely, and kid friendly. It has a large living space, great storage inside and out. The kids love having their own space and storage. The outside storage is very large and spacious for traveling with the whole family and pets. Show less

We bought this coach after selling our home. We split our time between locations that included this RV. The layout is amazing and very comfortable for two people and a pet. You can have privacy, but you can also entertain comfortably. We added a dishwasher in the spacious kitchen and a washer/dryer in the bedroom, making all the difference. Regardless of the season, the Arctic package made it comfortable, and the quality of the construction gave us confidence that we were safe. We never had issues with towing or the weather. The windows and in-kitchen dining overlooking the living room made it feel like you were watching sports at a stadium. We set up two offices, and that worked great! We would keep it, but we're headed to our next adventure by boat! Show less

Refrigerator went out within 1st year. All of the fittings leaked. The oven doesn’t heat accurately. Washer/ Dryer doesn’t dry properly. Load takes 2 hours. Couch is falling apart. Hitch light is inoperable. The dealer won’t come out and work on it. We live in it and can’t tow it in. Show less

We bought this brand new in 21 two weeks after arriving from the factory. This is the only rv we’ve ever owned and nothing but good things to say about it. Never had a single issue with it, both ac’s runs strong, never had any leaks refrigerator runs like champ. We also lived in it full time for 2 years with zero complaints. All of the extras this rv came with made it even more of a home run with fully electric self leveling stabilizers to app controllable awning, lights and stabilizers. I wouldn’t have bought any other rv. This rv is great for anyone starting the rv life or a veteran of rv life looking for a more upgraded unit. Show less

Ordered this unit in 2021. 1. Waited a long time for delivery. Arrived at dealership with kitchen slide half out, held in place by ratchet straps. Dealership tried to repair, but failed on 1st outing. Grand Design authorized new parts for rebuild. 2. Few months later, while extending this slide, gas line came undone from attachment clip under slide (not from fitting) and got pinched by slide. Repairs not covered…considered maintenance. 3. Earlier this year I noticed the frame separating from plywood in storage compartment under this same slide. Dealer said probably resulted from Schwintech slide vibrating weird. Also not covered by GD or extended. This will shock you….MAINTENANCE. 4. After last outing this October, I noticed water dripping from underbelly under kitchen. Dealership had to drop underbelly and gry tank under kitchen and discovered drain pipe at top of gry tank wasn’t installed/caulked properly and finally vibrated loose. Also not covered by GD or extended. This will shock you…MAINTENANCE. Not sure how I could maintain this😡. 5. Also in October, we found water in hallway outside bathroom. Swelled the door trim. I took out the bathroom drawers and discovered hot water line to left sink was barely connected. I mean less than a full turn and it came off the fitting. Yep… not covered. I sent this info in a polite email to GD three weeks ago asking for help in restoring my confidence in GD. NOTHING…… Show less

This rv is awesome! It’s a great size to downsize to if leaving your home while still having majority of the same amenities of a house. Full size appliances, on demand water heaters, smart home features! Anyone interested with a family or just looking for a solid rv needs to look at this model. Show less

Grand Design sold us Solitude with extra fitting hole in grey tank. The tank overflowed through our underbelly. Grand Design denied the claim saying ‘Grand Design doesn’t know how the extra fitting got there’. We took it to GD dealership who confirmed the issue. GD denied warranty claim. Show less

Purchased this RV in May 2021, year one heater in seat goes bad - GD says go to the manufacturer. Also the molding in the bathroom comes off. Year 2 - this year - water pump goes out, hot water heater goes out, half the LEDs in the awning lights go out, monitor panel goes bad - GD says tuff luck you're out of warranty. I purchsed this because I thought I was buying the best - turns out to be crap and Grand Design doesn't care. Their customer support was rude and basically said he can't support electronics they buy as 3rd party parts. So, if you want quality for 1.5 years only, this is what you buy. Show less

Overall, very happy with this unit. Between staying at our seasonal spot in the summer to pulling to Arizona for the winter, we stay around 220 nights a year in the RV. This tows vey well with my F150 (no judging!). It’s a smaller RV that is quite liveable. Into our third summer and have had two small issues. The drain dump slide jammed and was fixed at dealer, and the kitchen tap burst. This was not frost. Could have been because forgot to put a pressure regulator on. This unit was purchased due to perfect fit into summer deck. Very pleased. Show less

Our family of six has thoroughly enjoyed our adventures in our 311BHS. The layout of the unit is perfectly designed for use by a large family to allow for everyone to have room and space of their own - especially important on rainy days... The kitchen has more storage than I even needed for all the kitchen appliances and gadgets that we use on the road, the master bedroom being set apart from the rest of the RV is wonderful - it allows for you to go to bed and have peace and quiet if the rest of the family chooses to stay up and watch movies.
