This is the worst mistake I've ever made. Build quality is a joke to say because there is no quality involved. This is a kick in the crotch to say the least. Did you Build this on December 24th at 9 PM? Not 1 plumbing connection at P traps connected correctly or any other position of the plumbing, so water damage is profound. Cable TV connections are all crossed and have never worked, Thank goodness for Roku TV`s I bought because the one installed didn't work. This thing is a disaster. No way I would ever buy another product Forest River produced. Or any other product they have any influence over which from my understanding is vast. Forest River is a group I wish I would have never met!!!!!!

Pros: We purchased this unit due to the floor plan and we love the layout. The trailer has nice features and we opted to have the second AC put in as the one would just not cut it in the TX summers. Interior colors are modern and the furniture is fairly comfortable. There is adequate storage inside and it comes with storage containers in all the cubbyholes and cabinets. Bathroom is the main reason we got this unit as its really good sized and has a large shower. Fireplace is great and works really good without the need of the furnace in cold weather. Cons: We had to have the main AC replaced after 1.5 year, the toilet had to be replaced at the same time, The wallpaper is bubbled throughout the trailer as well. The biggest complaint is the underbelly plastic panels blew off during a trip and Forest River will not fix or replace after the 1 year warranty. Customer service is not helpful at all and they stopped all communication with me after the 3rd email. Apparently after a lot of research many people are having issues with the plastic underbelly panels coming off after the first year of ownership and good luck getting help or finding any replacements.

After owning my forest river salem cruise lite for 2 and 1/2 years my slideout failed and would not go back out. It was also digging into the floor. After talking to lippert and forest river on parts and manufacturing both sides blamed each other. No one would take responsibility and just blamed me for failed systems. I had nothing to do with the assembly or parts of camper but Dean Blylee of forest river said it was my fault cause I used my camper too much. I would not recommend buying a forest river camper because it has cost me 4500.00 to fix just the slide after going camping 8 times in it. They will prob respond to this but they really do not care. As the owner of my own business I am glad that I do not treat people this way. All they care about is money not people they deal with. Sad sad business to be in. I will be putting a different slide system on my unit and will never deal with any of these companies again and I suggest you do not either.

Our Cherokee Wolf Pup 16FQ is just the perfect size for 2 adults. We downsized in 2021 from a 27’ Newmar Class A coach to this little camper and could not have been happier with our decision. I towed our Pup with my 2013 Honda minivan and had no problems utilizing a sway bar and a load leveler. This model makes very good use of a 16 ft. camper. I have removed the very uncomfortable original sofa bed and replaced it with a full queen size mattress. We have seen other 16FQ owners who have replaced the fold up with a real mattress also. I added a custom-made removable backrest to rest on the bed. The 16FQ floorplan is wonderful and includes a large 11 cubic foot 12V refrigerator that can run off the installed solar panel and battery for days! The fold down rear bumper rack is perfect for strapping on bikes, coolers or whatever else you need to take along! I have added lots of extra small storage shelves to our Pup to keep favorite things within handy reach, including, one above the stove built for a toaster oven. I wish I had replaced the factory tires sooner. The original tires, I recently learned, were only rated for speeds up to 65 MPH. Fortunately, a recent tire blow out didn’t damage the camper, and our camper now has quality replacement tires installed in 2023. I have done dozens of little upgrades to ours to make camping more fun, but the 16FQ is a good solid little camper!

After selling our 2006 Winnebago Journey DP in late 2019, we decided we missed traveling in a RV, so we started looking for our new RV. We were moving to a short TT (Travel Trailer), under 26’ long, under 7600 lbs GVWR and a bunk bed floorplan. We started our searched in early 2020, yes, the start of Covid and after looking on-line and in-person at dealers, we purchased our new 2021 Vibe 21 BH in May 2020. Note: Forest River makes two versions of the Vibe 21BH camper, West and Midwest, the West version 21BH does NOT have a slide-out. So my review is on a Midwest 21BH with a Dinette slide out and sold East of the Rockies. The Vibe 21BH is 25’ 7” long, 11’ 2” high, dry weights of 4925 lbs and a 627 hitch with an amazing CCC of 2702 lbs. It has one deep passenger dinette side with a large window. It’s a Bunk Bed style floor plan, which was what we wanted so we could take our grandkids with us on trips and it also becomes a huge storage area for us when we take longer trips. It has a front murphy bed, which can be stored ‘made’ (sheets on and pillows) including a 1 ½ topper. When the murphy bed is stored, it reveals a couch with two seats with a flip-out foot rest and a lot of storage under it. On each side of the couch there are small Wardrobes, not very tall, so I removed the fake floor in each wardrobe and added small doors to help access lower area. Other storage includes two door floor to ceiling wardrobes and storage cabinets in slide. And a small pantry at the end of the bunk area. And two large pull out drawers under the dinette seats, two kitchen draws and a pot and pan draw under the Oven. There are two Bunk beds that are quite wide, both have windows and ceiling lights that can be turned on and off from the bunks. Our two Grandkids, that have traveled with us, enjoyed their bunk space for play and sleeping. When the Grandkids are not with us, on longer trips, we use the lower bunk for storage of additional clothes, food and other items needed for longer trips. There is also a large storage area under part of the lower bunk that we use for container storage and a place for a kitchen garbage container. The Bathroom, while small, is very functional for us and grandkids. The shower is rectangle shape (roomy) with a pullout shower curtain and is big enough for a blowup Duck style toddler bath tub. It has an upgraded ceiling fan with an outside hood so it can be left open even if it’s raining outside. The Kitchen is functional for a 25’ long camper, includes a Microwave, 3 Burner stove, and small oven. The stainless steel farmhouse kitchen sink is a good size with a moveable faucet. Electrical: This is a 30 amp camper with a 15k Air Conditioner, Gas/Electric 6 Gal hot water heater and a 10.7 Cu Ft 12v DC only residential style Refrigerator, not a good choice for people who do a lot of boon docking type camping. We are always connected top power so this style Refrig is what we prefer. This is our first 30 Amp camper, so I added and inteletec Power management system that will enable me to run our hot water heater on Electric rather than on my LP. The system has been perfect automatically turning off the HW heater anytime the microwave is run, 45 seconds after the Microwave stops the HW Heater is turned back on. Entertainment: The Vibe 21BH comes with a single 24” TV, I replaced that one with a Smart TV and added a 40 inch Smart TV mounted on a Swivel Mount on the top of the Pantry. The couch/recliners face the new 40” TV. Since we stream everything, if good WiFi, directly on the smart TV, if poor WiFi, we will stream from our Ipad via HTMI cables. I’ve added a HTMI switch that enables me to stream the same content or different to each TV. I’ve installed a weBoost Drive Reach RV - Cell Phone Signal Booster to help in weak Cell Signal. The Vibe 21BH (Midwest version) is a great camper small enough to easily be towed by a ½ ton truck. It is very stable towing behind my F150. It has big bunkbeds for our grandkids, great size shower for bathing the infants and toddlers. A very functional kitchen and a great residential style refrigerator. Lots of storage for a small camper. We have enjoyed traveling in the Vibe 21BH on long multiweek trips and week trips to Fort Wilderness with our grandkids. It has been a great decision for us. We have towed about 8000 miles (three 2000 mile round trip trips from Florida to Pennsylvania) and a number of short trips and the only failure I have had was a outside Awning motor that failed which I replaced myself. I contribute my trouble free ownership from it being manufactured per-covid, late 2020. I did replace all the China-Bomb Castle Rock tires with Goodyear Endurance tires before we took our first trip. For it’s length and weight the Vibe 21BH was a great choice for us. -Russ G

Purchased new February 2021, great floor plan, plenty of room. Now the issues. Everchill (now Lippert) went bad first year, they (everchill) replaced after much haggling. New refrigerator went bad, Lippert would not warranty as one year only from date of RV purchase. Bought new computer circut board (<$100) now works fine. Brake failure on one of the axels caused the bearings to burn out and needed new axil (Lippert product, would not replace under 5yr warranty). Replaced just under $900. Battery connect broken as nothing will work unless plugged into shore power or vehicle, battery tests fine. Now the front electric stabilizer motor will not work (lippert product) had to hand crank down. Not sure if it is Lippert products or Forest River but only had camping about 6 times and for me seems like a lot of problems. Probably would suggest to look at other brands.........

. We purchased the 2021 29 VBUD model Forest River fro our local dealership I Greeley Colorado. Purchased November 2020. During the walk through we found a few items not up to par. Had scratches in the exterior panel of the fridge. Doors not latching properly glue on the outside of the wall paper. Everything was documented for service at a later date. Little did I know these items would take an act of congress to get repaired. First outing breaks did not work dealer never found issue with breaks. I found loose wires on frame work. Have had nothing less than a bad experience with this unit. We thought purchasing new would be better than used. There are too many things to list we don’t like about this unit or the experience we have had at the local dealership. I wouldn’t highly discourage anyone from purchasing Forest River products. Craftsmanships is poor to say the least on the unit. They seem to be built as fast as possible without care that people invest their hard earned money on them.
