Our experience has been very good. It has enough room for a couple of grandboys and a dog. The open concept of the living area allows us to move around while food prep and lounging around. It really works for us as a pair of retirees and a dog, failing eyesight is not going to allow us to continue to travel safely. This 5th wheel is great for retirees or a small family, as it has 2 slide outs and a simple control panel for managing the various components of the trailer. Its setup uses auto leveling control and large, heated water tanks, which makes it sturdy and livable. Inside the trailer is a 50” TV/Entertainment System and an awesome electric fireplace, which gives off great heat and provides an awesome fireplace view. The RV comes with a 23” Blackstone griddle which hooks up on the outside, as well as a TV hookup. The trailer comes with containerized water and waste hoses and connections. Will provide great camping experience, especially for the novice.

Our second new CC Fifth Wheel. Actually upsized from our 2020 34ik. Love the floor plan. Like the fact that we could get carpet in living room and bedroom for our dogs. ( They slip otherwise). Like the dealer we got both from. Or should say former dealer. (He wouldn’t stock 4 new ones per factory , because he is smart) Now the bad. Underbelly has fallen down on the highway twice! Wiring, insulation..etc dragging…Buy some serious amount of 4 inch wide Gorilla tape. My dealer even riveted a brace all the way across. Lasted 2 trips. Works great until wind grabs one of those 4x6 panels. Almost stranded twice. Full size Refrigerator broke loose from its cheesy spot. Had to be properly secured. Auto level works about 50/50. Big slide won’t come in unless level. Constantly fixing level. And calibrating. Would like to buy another if they would let us order from dealer. Would stress Refrigerator security. Underbelly security. And auto level warranties. Otherwise we like it. Going to fix the siding that was blown apart by a tire explosion. H rated tire, not blaming them on that one. But it damaged the rig. Also a note. Our 2024 GMC 3500 diesel stopped communicating with the trailer brakes because the solar panel charged the Fifth wheel batteries to more voltage than the truck. Had to remove inline fuse for solar panel to get trailer brakes to work. A 2024 issue for GM HDs. They are working on a fix.

We've had trouble with the Schwintek slide system on tge Kitchen slide (7' x 24" small slide) I'm having it repaired at my expense. We have an appointment to replace the system with a Vroom System. Would never buy an RV with a Schwintek slide system again. Moved the charge converter out from under the bathroom sink to the front battery compartment. Placing a 110 volt 55 amp electrical component under the sink ... not wise. I've owned half a dozen RVs over the years, and none are perfect. Forest River is definitely a better quality unit in my experience.

We bought this fifth wheel used after it was 6 months old. My only issue with Forest River is they do not transfer the warranty. We were lucky and we did not have any issues the first year. We been to Florida twice and out west which was 10,000 miles that one trip. Also to MO and many more shorter trips. The only problem we have had was a blowout and it ruined the wiring to the refrigerator, TV and fireplace. We should of put new tires before we went out west. I would recommend any one buying an RV to change out the tires to American made and a high ply. It will save you the possible damage when you have a blowout. We have lived in the trailer for 9 months with all of our long trips and a few more months on our short trips.

The main problem is that it is designed to have 15 outlets all on the same circuit, and it takes the entire RV with it when it inevitably trips. It was built to fail, a complete lemon that costs me well over $100,000 with interest included.

The overall quality is horrible! We have owned this fifth wheel for almost 3 years and bought it brand new from dealer. Within six months we began having things breaking or stop working. Minor things at first that have gradually increased into bigger things. The dealership was zero help! The manufacture did return emails, but so much time had gone by that the warranty expired before we could get anything done. The manufacturer actually advised us we could’ve bypassed the dealership and gotten a remote repair person, as the slide outs would not go in for us to get the camper to dealership for warranty work. Items broken and or falling apart are but not limited to, trim work breaking in various places, outlets falling into the walls, flooring lifting, bubbled & bumpy walls by door & in closet, vent in shower quit working, closet doors both broke (we did manage to get those replaced but not installed) drawers in the chest of drawers broken, hydraulic arm/support under bed/storage space broke, love seat is peeling, gauges for all tanks do not read properly or at all, radio does not work and never has, trim on outside has warped and fallen off in multiple areas, both canopies are loose in places where they are attached to camper and over all are falling apart, the self leveling system does not and never has worked AND the slides will not go in! Basically, a $65k+ LEMON that we paid cash for! If we had not had so much going on (open heart surgery, COVID, etc) I would’ve seriously considered getting an attorney just out of principal. Overall, very poor quality across the board!! I’d steer clear of this manufacturer as a whole!
