We've had our trailer now for almost 2 years. While I'm happy with the towability and liveability, I'm less than impressed with the craftsmanship. I assume east to west has their own quality AVOIDANCE department and they are doing a superb job. Maybe they should think about quality control. The first trip we took the gasket between the coach and the slide-out came out. Seems it was never fastened down. Next the screws which hold the panel over the winterization valves were stripped out after the dealer winterized it. Also the screws which hold the panel over the water heater bypass were stripped out. This was not the dealers fault. You can't expect large thread wood screws to hold in 1/8 to 1/8 paste board. The unit was cold during our first fall and I found that the heat ducting was never connected to the heater unit. Oh and the screws holding that panel in place were also stripped out. We tried to open the drawers on the somewhat useless anyway drawer unit under the bed and never could get them to work. When I took them out and put a tri-square on them they were so crooked they could never have worked. The frame holding the drawers in the kitchen was never fastened correctly so the whole frame moved when you opened a drawer. The plywood under the prison mattress was cut 6 inched too short so the mattress hung over the edge. The LED light on the side of the coach near the low point drains simply fell off somewhere between home and Texas. I've got roughly 100 hours in fixing the crappy craftsmanship. When I brought this to the attention of the manufacturers rep at our travel show he simply walked away

I have had the worse experience ever, the dealer has had the trailer 5 months out of the time I have owned it the airconditioner does work in auto fan. The slide had a short in the 12v system that was because they ran the wiring through aluminum support that chaffed through a wire and had 1 1/2 screws in the same tubing, it only needs about 1/2 in length screws in it. The dealer hasn't helped nor has East to West support it is like they all sit at their desk and laugh at emails all-day

Now comes the next season and now I have a short in the circuit that runs the tv and stereo. So it being a lift system tv cant raise the tv and the Kicker is the tv blocks all the wiring so can even see where the problem is. Now comes too east to west customer service, There is none. They responded to my last review just so it looked good and asked me to email them I did 4 months with no reply. If you think they will do something they wont so if you buy one you are at the mercy of your dealer and even they are fed up and tell you sorry they cant even get them to pay for parts

Worst craftsmanship by far. Bought the rig brand new last year. Most of the wood trim fell off the walls during the first trip because it was just stapled, no adhesive? Had to go through and tighten all the plumbing connections as they were all loose enough to leak. Kitchen sink was draining inside the island for almost two weeks before we found it, was really fun to clean up. Both exhaust fans stopped working within the first 6 months. The furnace blower fan is on the fritz, it’s a struggle to even get the furnace going right in time for winter. I inspected the furnace, the frame the blower is mounted into is cracked. Not sure how the metal could break in a tight space like that, unless the installer did it. I would not call this an all season rig. I can feel drafts coming from the slide seals, especially the bottom. I can see day light around the door frame, as the trim used to cover the gap fell off during the first move. Garbage. The best part, still fighting with Camping World over the warranty they sold us, haven’t had a single thing fixed or replaced.

We have had our East to West Alta 2850 KRL for a tad over a year now. We’ve used it 8 times since purchasing it. Our first trip the water heater wouldn’t fire due to a valve issue from the factory (I haven’t dealt directly with East to West so didn’t feel I could give 5 stars for warranty/support) that was not caught upon PDI from the dealer. Frustrating as we went with no hot water the entire trip but upon returning home it was taken care of and the dealer refunded us for the PDI. Minus that issue, there were a few interior trim pieces missing from the factory and taken care of when the water heater issue was addressed. The unit is towed with an 18’ Ram 2500 coal roller and is more then enough for this particular model. I would feel safe to say a 1/2 ton truck could handle this model as advertised without issue as well. The layout is great for my Wife, Son, myself and our two small dogs. Plenty of room for “everyone”. We are looking forward to many more adventures with the Alta and if someone is in the market for a new bumper pull unit I would absolutely recommend East to West.

I bought my rv in hopes of having a wonderful place to call home. After looking around at multiple ones, I finally settled on the East to West Della Terra. Advertisements It was spacious enough, but also small enough to really fit my needs. At first, I had an absolutely awful experience with the dealership whom I bought it from. They were nice up until we actually purchased the RV. They were fully aware that my mother is in very poor health. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 of MS. She has been struggling with chronic pancreatitis due to a surgery mishap. They were aware that my family required something reliable for me to be in while I was trying to take care of my mother. It has been an absolute waste of time, effort and money with this rv though. The craftsmanship is incredibly poor, and the quality truthfully is even worse. Everything is falling apart, breaking or just not working. I've contacted people about warranties, and they are never upheld. My year on the warranties is almost up and what a shocker that it took almost a year for so, and I've yet to have the issues solved still. They have a history of the underbelly leaking water and some just outright fall apart while people are driving. Mine is currently leaking, and I refuse to move it because I do not trust it on the road. I feel taken advantage of because I was 23 years old, a female and had a situation where I really needed something. I feel like they saw that and sold me a lemon, thinking I wouldn't fight it too much. Furthermore, I was supposed to have a certain stock number and last second the stock numbers changed. I don't normally overthink those things, but it does seem a little fishy that the one we got has completely started to fall apart. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and if I had the opportunity then I would just give it back and never even attempt this experience ever again. It's truly depressing to see how this all happened and no matter how many times I've reached out so far, I just continuously keep being ignored. When I bought it, I asked for a stain to be cleaned out of the carpet and the salesman told me and I quote You're not buying a Winnebago, so no need to be too picky. I still spent around 40,000 on this rv and deserve just as much respect as the next person. No, I didn't get the most expensive one, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be clean and ready to go when we pick it up. I wouldn't refer Forest River, or the dealership I went to, to anybody, honestly. I can't tell people where to go, of course, but hopefully I can let people know that it is not worth the hassle with these.
