2020 Starcraft Travel Trailer reviews

The layout of the camper is perfect for the family. It is a lighter camper and towes behind the truck really well. And that is about all I have good to say about it. I was warned not to buy a camper that was made during COVID and I should have listened. They said that the campers were being thrown together and sent out quickly. There is a drawer that is half size and was supposed to be full sized. I notified Starcraft and they even sent me the blue prints showing it was supposed to be. They still wanted me to pay to repair it. My fault for not realizing it sooner so it would be under warranty. But you would think if it was made wrong they would make it right. There are 3 cabinet spaces above the table, but there are only 2 doors. It has been a hassle getting to the middle of the cabinet. The sink is nice and large, but it does not drain well at all. I need a squeegee to get the water to go down the drain. It also has been the worse sealed camper I have owned. The windows have to be almost slammed shut to stay latched. No matter what we do, a large amount of dust comes in when towing. Overall, nice layout and will work great for family outings. I just know we are going to have to put a lot of work into this new camper to button it up. Show less

Worst quality travel trailer ever! First year flooded the inside and multiple issues! StarCraft is a joke don’t ever buy this trash company trailers! You’re worst nightmare ever! Everything seems to fall apart and terrible service to fix it! Show less

I purchased a new 2020 Starcraft within 10 months and and a half dozen camping trips the roof membrane pulled out from the side of the camper, warranty did cover that. 4 months after the one year warranty I noticed a soft floor below the escape window. returned it to the dealer and the contacted Starcraft and was told that windows are not covered under warranty so the damage is not covered. the camper has been maintained as per the owners manual. windows were sealed on the outside and kept under a carport. I now have a 2020 camper with $15000 damage because of poor quality and starcraft says sorry. Show less

Nothing but problems. I was ok dealing with the little stuff. Then the rubber membrane on my roof started coming up along the sides. It was installed incorrectly. The trailer is 1 year 6 months old! StarCraft says it's not they're problem. The cost to repair.... $6500! CRIMINALS!!!! Show less

First, as soon as you drive off the lot and they have your money you no longer exist unless you want to pay for something. Had to take our BRAND NEW 2020 unit in for numerous fixes after our two trial runs. On our big trip to Big Bend for 6 weeks the propane regulator stopped working in the third week. After finding out that the outrageously expensive extended warrantee had a $200 deductible (was NEVER told that by the dealer) I talked with their tech service and he ran me through some checks. He agreed the regulator was bad. The nearest RV repairman was 100 miles away. So I ordered the part on Amazon to be delivered to the campground and replaced it myself. It was $43 versus several hundred if I had a mobile service guy come down or take it to them. Indiana RV Connections in Middlebury completely blew me off because I fixed it and gave me the 1-800 number for Starcraft. Starcraft rejected my request because a certified tech did not fix it. Purchased this unit early 2020 and used a few times this summer. Each time it rained, we had water entering through the slide. Took it to the dealer and after a Jayco/Starcraft rep looked at it, determined it needed to go back to factory for a complete rebuild. Here is the kicker. The rep told me that they are going to fix for free, haul it to the factory (over 1000 miles away), but I would have to come and pick it up. What a bunch of garbage. The kid made it seem like somehow he was doing me a favor! Still fighting with the dealer HWY 34 RV in Windsor CO, and the company to get this resolved. Save yourself the major headache and do NOT purchase a Starcraft. Show less

This is a great travel trailer! For what you pay, this has everything you need. Large kitchen area, which was a must, as I like to cook and the oven bakes beautifully... just put the rack up high. Perfect for couples, as this model has a queen bedroom in front. Rear living room has pull-out sofa. We have pets and they have plenty of room. Tons of storage, big windows, good quality, nice finishes and service has been excellent! It tows beautifully and we towed it all the way from Arizona to Maine. We ran into heavy rain/wind storm in the Mid-West and the underbelly was heavily soaked and peeled back, so we had to remove it in part. It's covered under warranty and made better than new. Holding tanks store a lot and empty easily. The only things I dislike are; the water pump is a little noisy (but that's how it is), the queen mattress is flimsy, so we added a better one as we are full-time camping. And we had to put up a heat-deflector on the side of the stove where the wall is, as it got very hot from cooking. Love the countertops - very durable, but the sink is plastic (as it should be) and accidentally melted a little area from hot pan. Love this trailer and blessed that it is so perfect for us as we build a house, we're staying in it. Unfortunately, we'll have to sell it (probably 7/2021) when the house is finished, as we won't be needing it, so if you want to buy it, email us and we'll send photos. We love our 2020 Starcraft Autumn Ridge Outfitter 26BHS. The only issue is,the tv antenna is awful and picks up nothing, no matter where we are. We will be getting a replacement antenna. So far we have not had any issues with our camper!! Show less

First camper purchase and last. Have had nothing but issues since we bought it. Shower bottom was never even caulked, shower stalls looked like a hair was stuck on it but after trying to wipe it off discovered the whole shower wall is cracked all the way thru. We bought thus to stay in while building and have had to take it in for repairs twice already. We have not even had it a month. The hot water tank has went out twice, the hacks underneath were so cheap that the first time we set it up, they collapsed. We are really considering the lemon law on this one. Bought it at Camping World in Oklahoma. Very disappointed, would stay away from thus one. By the way..thus was brand new on the showroom floor when we bought it three weeks ago. Show less
