We have owned this RV for 2 years now. We have had several issues with it. We purchased in the fall of 2020 and made our first trip the following March. We had several issues on that trip. TV Had black spots in picture. Entertainment Slide jumping and opening unevenly. Black tank flush valve wasn't working due to being installed backwards. Issues that we feel are just poor quality. The jackknife sofa is horrible. It does not open flat and anone taller than 5' could not sleep on it. The included Capital Grill could barely cook a hotdog. Everything was fixed under warranty and seemed to be working fine. We then discovered a leak in the skylight over the shower. We were told this was not covered under warranty and it cost us over $100 to repair. We have had several cosmetic issues with molding, et.. that are also not warranty coverage. We now are having the same issues with the slide and it is also no longer under warranty. However after looking at the issue closer it is not a mechanical issue. The floor on one end has apparently gotten wet and has begun to rot and as a result has expanded. my assumption is that rain made its way into it. So when you bring the slide in and out it is causing it to bind. I have not contacted them yet but my assumption is that it will not be a warranty item. I have no idea what this will cost to repair.

My overall rating is 1 star due to poor workmanship and warranty coverage. Less than a year old. Purchased in April. Made in March. First the pros: Really nice looking camper. Layout is above average. Plenty of storage for most needs on a long weekend outing or even a month. Tows nice. The cons: Workmanship issues 1. Shower door not installed correctly (leaning in/not plumb vertical) caused shower upper surround to separated from the wall of the camper. 2. Passenger Side Taillight has water in it. 3. Driver side tail light works intermittently. 4. wing Wiring Tray Cover fell off when awing was extended. 5. Small outside storage area has interior trim coming off. 6. Outside Kitchen has interior compartment trim coming off. 7. Glass on right side of entertainment center storage has chip. 8. Upper cabinet on left side of TV is chipped and cracked 9. Wall above the Kitchen Fridge is scratched. 9. Dining/recliner slide out needs trim paint. 10. Cabinet over bed on right side has glue on the glass or is scratched. 11. Dining /recliner slide out rug trim is not sewn properly and detached. 12. All silicon on the exterior has mildew (mold). 13. TV connection in storage compartment not installed correctly. 14. Screen door not installed properly so that it opens with put door. I filed for warranty work repairs and Keystone would not authorize all repairs. They said the dealer should have fixed many of these issues before delivery to me. Keystone would only replace the 2 tail lights and would not approve to correctly install the shower door. Instead Keystone authorized replacement of double sided tape, push pin screws, and more silicon to secure the shower surround to the wall. So now I have holes in my perfectly good shower surround that could leak in the future. All because the shower door was not installed properly at the factory. I don't know if all the manufacturers behave this way, but it is clear Keystone is in it to provide a product and not provide good support after the sale.

In Sept of 2019 we purchased a brand new 2020 Keystone Cougar 32BHS from camping world. we took it out for one trip in 2019 noticed the black tank flush did not work, contacted camping world and scheduled and appointment, we then closed it up for the season. In April of 2020 we opened it up and like most people started getting it ready for the season. That's when the problems started rolling in. It was a few days before our first trip and i had the camper open all the slide were open, i walked over to the camper and heard a noise that sounded as if the ac was on, the bunkhouse slide somehow turned itself on and was continuously running, to the point where the wires were so tight they would not even move, we had a tech come out before the pandemic and look at it the motor bearings were broken and it would need to be replaced. at this point the pandemic hit and my husband and i had to manually push the slide in and ratchet strap it so we could drive it to camping world. after that occurred the dining room/kitchen slide motor also needed to be replaced because it wasn't working properly the in command center was glitching and not working properly. after that whole situation we eventually got it back, we took a camping trip on a long weekend and it was under 60 degrees out the heat would not turn on, the in command center was frozen there was nothing working on it, we could not make anything function. our fridges thermo fuse broke in the middle of the same trip and we went a whole weekend without a working fridge or freezer, and the slides would not function. we had to manually reboot the whole system. now our battery is not working properly and wont take a charge. i love the layout of this camper it is super family friendly especially if you have a lot of kids, but the problems that i have had with it are not worth it. It could have been designed to have better storage and the kitchen cabinets could have more shelves inside of the cabinet itself. if i didnt have to worry about what is going to break next or worry about something happening it would be a great camper.

This model is also perfect for travelers who work remotely as the bunk room can serve as the perfect "RV mini office" with tons of storage and a small desk/work area. It's size also makes it ideal for boon-docking, national/state parks, and other campgrounds with limited spots for larger campers. While this isn'a "big rig" you will have plenty of space and storage. Why are we selling? We're actually ready for an upgrade to a larger unit for longer-term travels.

So far we are very happy with our RV the only exception is the tri-fold couch and the heating system. As far as a couch it is ok. As far as a fold out bed it is horrible unless you have little kids to sleep on it. The biggest issue is that when you fold down the back to make the platform it is not level. The frames attached to the sides of the couch are installed on a slope. Not sure why they did it this way or if we just got a bad one. And the overall quality of the couch is poor. Also the way in which they secured the couch into the camper was to drive two screws down through the back and into the floor. I think they could have put a proper bracing system in. As for the heating system the furnace only blows hot air into the living room/kitchen area. There are floor vents but appear to be returns. So it does pull warm air into the bedroom but I would have expected a supply in the bedroom as well. For these reasons i gave 3 stars for overall quality.

Bought this unit Jan 7,2020 from a dealer in tenn. First arrived it was extremely windy so they couldn't put out awnings, the stabilizers struggled when we were there and the gentleman Dave who was showing us unit said he would put in a work order for us to have fixed when we arrived in florida and the rear blind did not open whatsoever, why because the strings are cut too short so there is no way ever it would open. We take it home and the first time we go to use it the entire control board blew. Then after 2 months for that to come in we go to scheduled trip but covid hit so then we decided to try out parked at my husbands shop so first night the ac units kept running and still never cycle, the black, clear and grey tank now dont register on new panel, the awnings that the dealer would Not open DON'T ACTUALLY work. The control panel does not recognize them then we get them unlocked and again they disconnect, the other blinds would not stay open, the over head vent fan

I like the smaller size of the rv, but, unless the newer models have corrected those annoyances, I would look at other rvs if I was shopping again.

We bought our Cougar in Feb 2020. We have had only 4 trips in it and the one trip was a 2 hour drive with 25 miles being dirt road. After the purchase we backyard camped to test everything out. Since purchase we have had to have the furnace replaced, the tank flush redone as the lines were backwards, the rubber trim on a window fixed that was coming apart. A drawer that the track came apart on and the drawer front has cut marks in. The shower drain leaked. And just got back from the 4th trip, opened it up to empty out and the fancy trim around one of the slide out windows that holds the blind had fallen onto our recliner still attached to the wall with the screw mounts at the bottom and the string mounts for the blind. Cant even get it to come loose from the wall. And the handle for the stairs leading to the bathroom and bedroom came away from the wall. The quality of some things are great. But the overall assembly is very poor. I am very upset about the money we are paying for something that keeps falling apart. Our dealer has been great to work with so far, so we are thankful of that. Just wished it was better factory put together.
