We purchased our Surveyor Legend 241RBLE in March this year and have camped in it 5 times since. I understand this floor plan has been discontinued however it suits us just fine for two people. Overall, at this point, the only problem found was a leak in the galley gear water tank. Long story short…someone at the factory ran a screw into the bottom of the tank and final QC did a poor job on the patch. Last trip, also had an issue with the USB port in bedroom but haven’t dug into it yet. Overall, at this point, this has been a good trailer. Tows well with my F150 with 5.0L max tow. A few niggles…. The valve and bayonet fitting for the galley grey water drain is difficult to access especially with the slide out, roof access ladder is light duty, need window in door (none current but plan to add), carpet in slide folds up against cabinet when in “in” position. Overall, we are happy with the purchase and experience over the first 3 months of ownership.

I would not recommend this trailer to anyone. After 10 month's I have my trailer scheduled for repair on the bedroom slideout. It has leaked since I purchased it. It does not leak with it in but I got caught in the rains a few times and have water to mop. I am concerned with mold although there are no visible signs. The bedroom window leaks also. It was replaced after 7 months but my first trip with it and it leaked worse than the original one. The converter never stops running. The DVD player quit after watching less than 10 movies.Several small item's have been repaired and some by me. Trim falling off is something I can repair but with all the other repairs needed I hope I get everything taken care of before my warranty is up in 10 weeks. Meghan in the warranty department has been kind and helpful but now no one answers my calls and there is no option for voice-mail. I am retired and cannot afford to purchase another or I would and it certainly would not be a Forest River product. Quality is hard to find now days but customer satisfaction should be #1.

It took me a month to get the dealer to give me the okay to make the two-hour drive to return it to them. I dropped it off and it's been 5 weeks and I'm still waiting on a window. This is money wasted by the time I get the trailer back my warranty certainly will be shortened considerably. I called Forest River corporate office and talk to a grouchy woman. I have two family members shopping for travel trailers and I told them to stay away from Forest River as well as Daytona RVs.

Let's start e saying we sold our R-pod from forest river due to size. No issues what so ever, so decided to stay with Forest River and bought the Surveyor 250 FKS. Needless to say the RV place didn't do a proper PMI before we picked it up. However the fuse to the slide keeps blowing everytime we unplugged it from the power source. Then the first official trip we unplugged it before we left and the fuse didn't blow but now the refrigerator turns on but doesn't cool. Not sure what this issue is until we take it I to the shop. Shouldn't have these issues with a new trailer and maybe if the RV dealer c pool completed a proper PMI these issues would have bee found and fixed. We do love the floor plan and the space as well as the decor, it pulls great behind our Toyota Tundra as well. Hopefully when everything is corrected we will be Happy Campers:) I hope Forest River pays attention to this review.

I purchased the camper in Oct 2019 and picked it up in Nov. and transported it 50 miles to my home where It has been parked. While cleaning the exterior of the camper I notice rust covering the stairs at the back door and around the tongue. I took photos and sent them to Forest River. They will pay for 0.50, 30 minutes labor, to have the rust scrapped and painted. I Had 2018 Jayco that I camped every other weekend in for 3 years. When I turned it in on the Surveyor, because I liked the layout, it still looked brand new inside and out. It held up Beautifully. This rust issue to me screams of very poor quality and if the frame is made of the same rusting material as the stair and tongue, I am so screwed. RUN, RUN, RUN, from any Forest River product, and warn your fellow campers.

We use our trailer primarily in the winter for skiing and purchased this trailer specifically for the arctic package. Unfortunately since purchase we have dealt with 6 + weeks of our brand new trailer being in the shop attempting to get the furnace to function and heat. Forest River has not provided prompt warranty work and at this stage still has no answer in terms of solving this problem. No lemon laws for trailers. I would recommend no one purchases a Forest River Surveyor until they are able to figure out this problem. Hoping this review will get Forest Rivers attention and start returning our phone calls.
