Customer service was terrible! Good luck when something breaks on the RV. Our water pump broke, tried twice to get it fixed with no success. We were without water for 4 days (had RV for 13 days total), unable to wash hands, dishes or flush the toilet (!), and had two of our children with us. We were told "you could have used a water hose"...?!, unacceptable and RUDE! That's the whole point to rent an RV, for the convenience of your trip, so you don't have to pull over to the gas station if you or your child needs to use the bathroom, or you want to cook and wash dishes. Then only got a $165 discount. Also would NOT use their insurance as it has a $1K deductible. Caught a rock from a semi and there went $400. Also, they gave us at checkout a broken coax cable and leaking water hose. I would NEVER rent from them again and will tell everyone who wants to rent an RV to stay away from El Monte RV rentals in McKinney.

This rv drives like a dream when compared with a similar size rv on a Ford chassis that I have owned. Interior is very spartan, vinyl flooring, vinyl surfaces everywhere, and I love it, so much easier to keep clean than rvs I have owned with lots of plush fabric and carpet or wood floors, this is what you WANT in a vehicle that you take to the beach or the campground. Storage area is outstanding, tons of room, multiple bins in the garage each with their own drains. Love the wifi ranger and how simple it makes setting up camp (only connect one device not 5 or 6). Love entertaining outdoors with this rv because everything is set up for that. The only negative is that the bed is VERY high off the floor, so getting in out of it requires sufficient gymnastics that if you own this rv AND have a prostate problem, you are probably going to get divorced. Found the "dream dinette" to be not very comfortable so I put in twin recliners instead, which makes camping a far more relaxing experience. Overall, I felt like this offered more long term value for the dollar than other similarly sized Class Cs.

We upgraded from a Thor 24' to our Freelander 27' on a Chevy Savannah 3500 body, and love it. We are getting ready to retire and wanted something easy to travel with. This is the perfect unit for the two of us. We don't need the big slides or high ceilings. Just something easy, and this fits the bill perfectly. Instead of the bigger window, one extra cabinet over the sofa with a smaller window would have been nice. Everything else is great. Not one problem yet. We have already taken it several long trips and dozens of overnighters. So simple, pull in, put the jacks down, the awning out and we are ready to go! I highly recommend this unit for people looking for easy to use and easy to drive. We also pull a Mini Cooper Clubman on a dolly behind with no problems. We haven't needed the Factory Warranty or Support. I hope they are as good as they say if the time comes.

Antenna does not get any tv stations. Place where we bought it has looked at it 3 times and still no tv when going camping. 6. All the windows open real hard. The one by the table the glass has separated from the frame/lock so can't open it at all. 7. One is the plastic caps for the awning was missing when we arrived at our last camping outing. It has not been a fun camping season for us because its always like now what is going to break!!

I'd love to say, it's great...but,we purchased a 2020 Leprechaun I February, and never been able to use it. If we turn on both air conditioning units, we can't use the microwave or anything else without tripping the breaker! The hot water heater didn't work, so my husband (electrician) fixed it, along with other small things. The dealership told us that it was "normal" for the breaker to trip. I can't believe that as much as you pay for a new one, you can't live in it! We're supposed to pick it up from the dealership...still not fixed. Any advise??? Very disappointed, and everything else one could feel. They took our money and ran. We purchased every warranty they offered as well.

The connections are so close to the floor that they break regularly flooding the floor. A dealer told me it is a common occurrence. The part is less than $2.00. It is a pain to replace. The onboard toilet is fine for children and petite women. There is no leg room for tall people. Get used to leaving the door open or use campground facilities.
