I am so incredibly disappointed with the construction of this RV. The overall lack of craftsmanship is unbelievable! We have owned this camper since new, purchased August of 2019. We just opened the camper up from a weekend away and found the cabinet above the couch laying down on the couch. The only thing in this cabinet was a few card card games, frisbees and two small water guns, honestly all contents combined weighed less than 15 pounds. Earlier this summer the bottom board under the couch just fell off. I’m not a carpenter but I know enough to know that you can’t expect a 20 pound free standing cabinet in a trailer that moves to be held up with a half in block of wood and 4 small screws that are barely secure.

I would not recommend a Catalina by Dutchman to anyone!!!

We purchased this RV new in August 2019. We love the layout with a center kitchen, awesome kitchen faucet, private master bedroom and plenty of storage space (especially the pantry/linen closet). Here’s what we don’t like...the rear side window above the couch leaks (found out the factory didn’t to pull the drain plugs out), some of the trip is wrinkled and just looks terrible and here’s the big one...the A/C quit working. Fortunately my husband is electrical knowledge and was able to repair it. We could hear the relays when switching the unit on but nothing would start. Come to find out that the main power cord and the wire to the relay switch we’re barely connected with the butt connector and then just wrapped with electrical tape. This was a fire waiting for s place to happen. The interior finishes are beautiful, but honestly it’s like putting lipstick on a pig.

We have had the trailer for 3 weeks and the cupboard door is stripped, the USB port never worked. The A/C quit and we are waiting for an appointment at the dealer. The construction debris that was left inside the cupboards when it was built is ridiculous. Love the layout not impressed with the quality.

You get what you pay for. Purchased brand new in August 2019, trading in March 2020. Where to start... Hot water heater is hit or miss, usually works with gas, but don't plan on a long shower. Jacks broke, rust underneath, ac fan makes awful noise when you cut it on. Floors shake when you walk even with additional jacks. Lock is difficult to open from outside with the key, it have been locked out once. Cheaply made and is not going to hold up for the long haul. Figuring it is better to cut my loss now and trade up to something much nicer with a better warranty.

We purchased in August of this year, from the start we have had issues. First issue is the jack bent when we set it up, the sink and toilet have leaked, the pinstripes are starting to peel. We called the dealer to get the repairs done under warranty and are told we either have to bring it back to the dealer (6 hours away from where my husband is working) or pay for a repair person to come and hope to get reimbursed by the company. Very disappointed in the quality and lack of support on the warranty. I have emailed the company directly to see if they will honor the warranty as the dealer will not.
