This has been a mess since our first trip. Leaking windows, poor build quality, bad awning, poor holding tank ventilation, cracked pieces of wood supporting lower bunk, broken pull out roller supports… Warranty work has been terrible. Now all of the exterior stickers are bubbling off. Run away fromKZ! Show less

Quality is absolute garbage it has leaked since the day I bought it manufacturer and dealership basically told me there was too much to fix they were not honoring my warranty after 1 year. I now have a 3-year-old camper with multiple soft spots in slide outs and roof damage Show less

This has been a dream trailer! Plenty of room for kids and grandkids and all of their “stuff”. This is the first trailer we have owned where we could store all of our food in cabinets without having to overflow into totes. The kitchen is set up nicely and we added a rolling butcher block top cart which has been fantastic. Bottom line: this is a great trailer for families. Show less

I am the second owner bought a year ago from oringinal owner who had it parked in a space for the prevous year. Upon purchase i have used the trailer 4 times pulling with my 1/2 ton Silverado pulls nice and is easy to set up. Opening new Business so dont have time to travel is only reason for selling this Travel Trailer. Trailer is in like new condition very little use as you can see in pictures Show less

Kz the manufacturer is awful. Been in and out of the shop since I got it 2 years ago. And it takes 6 months plus to get any thing. I just got my cabinet door I ordered 6 months ago. Still waiting on the stickers I ordered. This is the 2nd round of stickers. Quality sux. And kz customer service sux. Do not buy their product . Show less

I regret purchasing this unit and the supposed (expensive) extra warranty. The unit is very cheaply made We have had nothing but issues with leaking, even with the proper maintenance, table and counter top material pealing, skylights are faulty, shower floor feels like it will cave in at any time, shower walls bowed out ect.. Tried going through the company where it was purchased, they cant help. We tried to go through our extended warranty and have been denied mind you we paid thousands of dollars for our extended warranty! The purchasing company came to look at the issue's and they can only direct us to KZ customer service which has gotten us nowhere. I have spoke to professionals in the business and they have told us that the year after ours, they started caulking differently/better due to all of the water/leaking issues with previous models 2019 and under. I advise anyone looking to purchase this model BUYER BEWARE !!! Show less

Bought this fifth wheel in January of this year. Traded in a 2020 Rockwood 2614BS travel trailer. The Rockwood didn't have the room we desired so we looked for a decent rear living fifth wheel. We found it in the Durango Gold 356RLT. Short enough to maneuver in most RV parks and campgrounds but large enough to offer comfortable living. We love the floor plan - however, it's not exclusive to K-Z, it is similar to many other manufacturer's plans on the market. Let me preface this review by saying there is not a "perfect" RV out there no matter the manufacturer, no matter the price. They all have their quirks. First thing we did was replace the piece-of-junk mattress with a pillow top "soft" Montana hybrid mattress from Wilderness. Excellent mattress. The next thing to go was the worthless "waterfall" faucet in the bathroom at the sink. No pressure, no flow. Changed it to a more traditional single handle faucet and life is good. This Durango Gold model also comes standard with an on-demand water heater. Best feature EVER! Didn't think we would use the standard dishwasher, but we do and it's quite handy. We love the large, 4-door 18-cubic foot refrigerator/freezer. It does a good job. I wish it had an actual refrigerant compressor circuit rather than an adsorption circuit. When it gets above 90 F or less than 40 F, it doesn't work all that well. Summertime in Utah averages 90 F so the fridge and freezer don't cool to the temps we would like in the prime camping time. Our unit was ordered by the dealer with the factory solar package. It has two, 100-watt flexible solar panels on the roof. I kind of wish they were the rigid typical panels. 2000 watt inverter connected to all 110-volt outlets is great. There are only four USB outlets, 2 at the "hutch" in the kitchen area and one at each recliner. I wish there were USB outlets at every location of a standard 110-volt outlet. The pre-wire for King Connect WIFI is less than desirable. You would think that a WIFI router and antenna would be a standard feature. The two standard whisper quiet A/C units are nice. Adding a soft-start controller to each would be a great addition. The Lippert Control One system is okay but not perfect. It controls lights, slides, leveling, HVAC, and the main awning (the optional small awning is manually controlled only). It is WIFI capable but only works if you are near the unit. If you want cell connection, that requires a subscription through Lippert for like $40 or $50 a month. That would allow you to use all of the functions of the controller from a remote distance via your phone. Not worth it in my book. The gray water total capacity is 93 gallons split between two tanks, one for the bathroom and one for the kitchen. It would be nice if K-Z would connect the two of them so you get the full benefit of them. The bath gray tank fills up 3X as fast as the kitchen gray tank. The Insignia gas range is extremely nice and wonderful to use. The pantry area is spacious as well as the bounteous cabinets around the unit. The unit tows extremely well. I have a 2019 Ford F250 Powerstroke 4x4 short bed and it pulls it very well. I use the Andersen fifth wheel hitch and I have plenty of clearance between the front cap and the cab of the truck. To summarize, we love the unit. It fits our needs. Yes, there are things that need to be repaired from time to time, but it's an RV that bounces up and down the road. Things are bound to break, come loose, need adjustment. That's part of the RV life. Find one with a floor plan, color scheme and the components you would like and get out there. Everything breaks on this camper and the manufacturer takes absolutely no responsibility for their product. Please save yourself the headache and go with a different brand. My 2019 model had a water leak that required a floor replacement, a broken hot water heater, and an axle/break issue that made me almost lose control on the freeway which ended with a fire. No it was not maintenance related! After all that, the manufacture treated me with no respect. I was absolutely astonished how poorly they treat their customers. They could not even bring themselves to say something simple like, "I'm sorry that happened to you". I only got rude confirmation that it's not their issue and they will take no accountability. If you are looking for a reliable camper. It's not this one. Please spend your money elsewhere. I wish I would have. Show less

Where do I begin, the black tank flush never worked and after 1 year I called after the camping season because I didn’t want to be without it during camping season. Waited till spring because of Covid-19 and the dealer made us pay $50 to fix it. Not only that was bad quality off the get go. Underneath was rusting in places right away. The poor quality doesn’t stop there. The water pump was always loud and I looked it was missing screws holding it down. And now the best. Noticed wallpaper bubbling and wall feeling spongy. Above that wall the skylight above the shower. Well has like 6 cracks in skylight caused water damage inside probably with mold growing. KZ won’t stand behind their product told us it’s on us sorry. I told them a skylight shouldn’t crack in 2 years. The extended warranty from vacationland in big rock Illinois I was told won’t cover it either. Very disappointed at dealer too. They told us sorry it pretty much only covers electrical. Don’t buy from them or any KZ products Show less

I bought one on 1/26/19.the biggest mistake ever.it has been in the shop work on 5 times.thr awing the hot water heater the plumbing.i haven't took it any where that things with it has gone wrong.the company that makes it had done terrible workmanship every.and the camper it self comes apart in your hands.shame on this company.for ripping me off.please don't buy anything from them you will be like me.wishing you never have Show less
