I contacted Forest River Customer Service for an issue we have with our camper (2019 Vengeance 348A13) and was advised to email pictures to them. We had a water leak develop in a closet in December of 2021. After checking and recaulking the roof area, outside lights and windows, the leak was still there. We called an RV technician to help identify the problem. After removing the front AC unit, the technician found a tear in roofing membrane and obvious signs of water damage. The area was cleaned, sealed with roofing tape and the AC was reinstalled. At this time, I have spent $258 out of pocket for a repair to something that should have never happened. It is obvious that this tear happened during the manufacturing process. We also have a soft spot on the roof area. I asked Forest River if they could help us with repairing the roof members that were starting to rot and install the roof membrane properly. I was told that our camper was no longer under warranty and that the leak was caused by not maintaining the roof properly. I have applied leveling sealant in all areas that I could reach with a caulking gun. I was also told by Forest River that because I didn’t caulk around the AC, that the leak was my fault. I researched caulking around the AC and couldn’t find very much info. Since the AC has a gasket that is compressed when tightened and access would be impossible without removing the AC, I feel like Forest River was telling me to caulk, just to pass blame on me and not accept the fact that their poor manufacturing process is the root cause for our leak. I will never buy a Forest River product again.

I love the way this camper pulls, but that’s about it. The quality is not up to par at $35k. The bed broke at the dealer during the walk through, the water lines got pinched under the floor causing no water to kitchen sink, the refrigerator stopped working about two months of owning, both a/c stopped getting cold on the second camping season, all 4 slide out seals have been replaced in the second season, and now the third season and the floor had a big hole in it at the entry door, probley due to the seals tearing up. Other than that it tows great and has made many trips to the dealer for repairs.

Bought it in July 2019, within 2 months batteries were wouldn't hold a charger for more than 2 days - miswired. June of 2020 - all three dump valves stuck, finally got them unstuck then the aft tank, even though I can move it in and out, nothing would dump. Took it to dealer, they said we got it free and flushed it for me, take it out three weeks later, you guessed it, dump valve handle moves freely, but of course it won't dump. July of 2020, driving down the road and the fresh water tanks literally fell out of the bottom. We were so grateful we weren't on the highway when this happened. I've had this piece of junk for 18 months and it has literally been in the shop for 9 months. For the money I paid, I am nothing less than disappointed. The wife absolutely hates it and we no longer feel comfortable driving it. We keep waiting for something catastrophic to happen.

Nothing but problems. Fresh water tank fell out because there were no supports this was on the maiden voyage 24 hours after I bought it. Found that they did not support the black and gray tanks either. Took 6 weeks to fix it. The furnace had to tampered with It the day I got it wasn’t firing. Water leaks in the sinks. The drains were not tight and were also leaking. Water fill and city water valve leaked had to be fixed. Have electric problems that can’t be figured out batteries drain even when the electric cut off is turned to off. Just built terribly. Now the slide outs will not work. Iv had this camper for 4 months and the shop has had it for 3 of them. Now I’m taking it back again. Only positive is the dealer is trying to make things right. I like the layout of the camper and the colors but good grief all of the problems these campers have because They are terribly built. I would not recommend buying one of these overpriced campers. Find a better one for the price. Terribly disappointed especially for the cost. Just so sad because it’s a great layout and love the lighting And leveling system. But the bads are outweighing the goods. Beware this manufacturer Is terrible

We bought this camper new and had a couple of issue with it in the fist couple of months. The battery disconnect switch broke (dealer sent me a new one same week). Refrigerator worked good when we picked it up went to turn it on for our first trip and it would not come on. Read the codes to our dealer they overnighted me the part. Our fist trip with it two tie downs d rings broke, I stopped and replaced them. Never had any further trouble with it until I went off grid and had a rodent get in the belly where the hydro shaft is and chew all my hoses and my furnace wiring and my fueling station wires and a few other ones. We loved this camper and it fit our needs well!! Insurance totaled and we are looking for another. We are even looking at the 325pack13 we just had because we liked it so much. But.... I will rodent proof our next camper!!! Most we have looked at with the rack and pinion slide out need rodent proofed!! Good luck in your purchase!! For the money ours was a great fit for us and we are looking at the XLR and wolf pack and key stone impact right now! Buy what you like they all have issue!! Happy camping

We thought we trade our 2016 travel trailer on this Vengeance Touring Edition “2019 RV Business Camper of the Year”!!! B***S***! There is so many issues with this camper! First, it is very poor quality! The shower floor felt like we were going to fall through the floor! I’m 190lbs and the heaviest in my family! I braced the shower floor which you would think that would have been done by the factory!! The ceiling in the bathroom is 8’ tall and has an exhaust fan that does not have a switch! Had to buy a step stool to turn on the fan and open the hood! The TV’s - The tv’s in the master bedroom, garage/bedroom and outside could not auto scan. So I call Economy RV’s in Maryland where we bought it, and the service manager said there is a splitter at the bath exhaust fan but you have to pull down the shroud/return of the fan. It was in the shower skylight shroud! All fittings were tight! Went outside to the cable hook-up and unscrewed the panel and found the satellite cable was hooked up to the cable outlet and the cable wire was hooked up to the satellite outlet. Changed those cables and did “auto-scan” and now my grandkids can watch TV!!! Next task..... two of the cabinet doors screws were falling out! Got a screwdriver just to find out that the screws are stripped! Next task... hooked up the waste to the camper opened the grey tank and found that the “black tank” and “grey tank” stickers were reversed! Fix that! Next task.... sink in bathroom was leaking! No a big fix but this should have been caught by the dealer! Would I ever buy a Forest River RV again??????? Noooooooooo Waaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!!!! Oh, when I called Forest River Tech support/warranty service, they told me “they depend on they’re dealers to catch things like this!!!! NO QUALITY CONTROL!!!!!!!! Stay away from these RV’s!!!

We purchased a brand new toy hauler from Forest River. When we picked it up we questioned the integrity if the floor tie down D rings and were told by the dealership they were quite adequate for anything we would haul. The following day we tied down our motorcycles and started off on our trip just as we have done for in excess of 20,000 miles in the past year alone. 2 times on our journey we stopped to check tie downs as we always do and the third stop less than 4 hours from home- we found that 2 D rings in the floor had pulled out causing one brand new Harkey Davidson to fall on top of the other causing extensive damage to both motorcycles as well as the rv, wall, floor, door. The motorcycles had to be removed from the rv due to no way to secure them therefor leaving us stranded before we ever reached our vacation destination. We called Forest River customer service who immediately in the 1st recorded phone call admitted their had been a know D ring failure and damage caused to others property in the past. It was stated that the damage to the previous motorcycles had been paid for by the company and we were assured that ours would probably be as well ince we got estimates although Maddison the customer service rep she could not say for sure but did continue to reassure us that she didnt believe it would be a problem at all. Over the period if the next 2 days we remained stranded as we waited for Forest River to find us Adequate D rings and a service provider in the area we were. After 2 days, many miles and hours it was decided by Forest River Management and passed onto us by Maddison that D rings would be overnighted to us and the company asked that I install them myself as no dealerships in the area would do the work for Forest River Company since in the past they have either never been paid or payment took an excessive amount of time. We were able to return home on the 3rd day and get motorcycle estimates to Forest River as requested. Both motorcycles are brand new and have less than 3000 miles on each one. The damage estimates combined were approximately $ 17k. We were then asked to get 2 more estimates per motorcycle. We obtained 1 more estimate for each motorcycle and the 2 remaining local[ Within 2 hours] dealerships required a $250 fee to provide the damage estimates. This was presented to Maddison at Forest River who stated she would have to ask her manager what he wanted us to do. To this date we have bit received a reply to our emails or calls until today when I was told that we are going to have to go through the D ring provider to receive any compensation for repairs. I have repeatedly asked to speak with management regarding this issue but have not been put in contact with anyone other than voicemail that has not been returned. We have spent a great deal of time with his matter over the last 16 days with no resolve.
