We love the layout of this 5th wheel but that is the best thing about it! We ordered this unit brand new and had a list of 20 items that needed fixed before we could even use it. Just a few of the biggies.. toilet in half bath was only secured by I bolt, rocked when sitting on it. No heating vents connected, had to cut underbelly to get to them. Wide crack in small slide out, you could see daylight. Large slide out off center. Tore both the seals and scraping windows. All lights had to be replaced because the flashed on and off. Water coming from vent ran into underbelly.. had to cut hole to drain it. And the list goes on and on! I know they are manufactured quickly but really they are junk! A company should have better quality control! No excuses!

So we bought this 5th wheel about a year and a half ago. So far we have used it for maybe 8 months, traveling the states with our kids. This is our 3rd 5th wheel and this by far THE WORST. The first time we set the trailer up we found a tear in the flooring from a nail in the slide out. Over half of our overhead lights have burnt out, costing us about 15 dollars each to replace. All of the water lines leaked when we set up our trailer a few months ago, and all the faucets dripped for days before we could find the problem, so no we have a weak spot in the floor in front of the kitchen sinks by the front door. And the bottoms of all of our cabinets, bathrooms and kitchen look terrible because the water distroyed the “wood” used in construction of the cabinets. There has never been hot water at the faucet, I don’t know if they screwed up and connect cold to both sides or why it doesn’t have hot water. When we went to Oklahoma there was an on site RV repair man, that helped when on a Sunday afternoon our toilet wasn’t working. After he spent 10 hours working on the toilet he said “it was the worst designed waste system he ever saw”. There are to many bends in the waste line so every month we have to use this special 8 foot long water snake to clean the waste line and tank. Our carbon monoxide detector went of one night at 2:00 am, so after shutting off the gas and waiting over 40 min of it to stop, I finally disconnected it. RUN TO ANOTHER MANUFACTURER, DO NOT BUY FROM FOREST RIVER, OR ANY OF THEIR COMPANIES.

This is not my first travel trailer, it will however be my last from this manufacture. We bought this travel trailer so that we could see some of the country with our children before they went to college. The quality that went into the production of this trailer is best suited for that of a Third World country. Every week the toilet has to be plunged and power washed because the unit is not adequately equipped for people using this toilet. We have only had this unit for one year and have already invested and additional $6000 into the upkeep of this unit. The lights went out in the first seven months, The plumbing had a leak in it that caused a great deal of damage. While I am certain that I will buy another travel trailer, I will absolutely avoid this manufacture. I advise anyone who reads this post to do the same, avoid this manufacture at all costs.
