I read some saying the quality isn't that good, you need to realize these trailers are built to be lite. That said we love our toy hauler, we don't haul any toys in it other than bicycles, we got it for the room. Nothing worse than being cramped up in a trailer in bad weather. I've been down dirt roads with mine and take it real easy traveling and then I see people flying down these roads and there probably the one's complaining the doors come loose and so on. I take our trailer into the dealer every year and let them do a check on the whole thing, so if you take care of it, these trailers will last you. If you want great cabinetry and really good quality than you better plan on spending 60 grand or more.

First, I have to say I love the floor plan. We no longer have kids camping with us and we don't need bunks. The layout gives you the space of a slide without all the moving parts. Camper is definitely not a 4 seasons camper. The water tank is completely exposed to the elements. Cushion are thin and workmanship is poor. The Murphy bed which we love is constructed without enough supports internal to the frame to keep the box from collapsing. Rv has lots of nice touches like power hitch jack, power stabilizer Jack's. A/C works well. Bath is huge with a real glass surround. Frame seems solid. Queen mattress is a joke. For what we need it for its perfect. Great size, great layout and plumbed for rear camers. Have to say, we have taken it on some ruff roads and it stayed together and nothing came loose. :-) overall happy with our purchase

Brand new off the show room floor from Gander RV Wichita Ks. Fireplace didn’t work. The satellite wiring didn’t work. The main bed in the front was broken wood from the manufacturer the front a/c makes the entire cabin smell like an out house. Paid to install washer and dryer and both rattled so hard thay broke the door shaking. The fold out for the living room area broke the second time it was used. The roof leaked every time it rained. The back door wouldn’t close or open unless very forcablely Pushed or kicked. The back under wood support below the back couch was ripped off and not fixed after it was supposed to be replaced. The battery trickle charger was replaced by manufacturer and still didn’t work. The siding over the wheels fell off just driving down the road. Brand new there were wires from under the frame dragging on the concrete. It’s spent most of the first year in the shop brand new. It’s now been used once. TJ or CJ the manager in Wichita Kansas is clearly a person who does not care about your equipment time or experience. In fact he was very bullying demanding I set down in a chair I wait while he gets his boss. (Ass Hat). Gander RV in Wichita KS is the worst experience I have ever experienced. Honestly a class action law suite fits more of their category of fraud of the customers they have stooped. I could I have left out half of the rest of he problems. 1 year warrant. Nearly 1/2 year in the shop. But you still pay the payment every month.

I bought this camper new in Arizona. Took it to Montana and discovered the seals had deteriorated and it was leaking and the water heater did not work. Had the water heater repaired in Montana but returned the camper to the original dealership to have all the seals checked and repaired. They repaired all the seals at no cost to me and even reimbursed me for the water heater repair. I love the floor plan. It's the perfect size for myself and my two small dogs. I use the bunks mostly for storage. Even with the original problems. I have taken it all over the western half of the United States. It pulls very easily with my half ton truck and I love this camper. 😀

We bought this unit brand new at an excellent price. That was the high point of our experience. From there on it was all downhill. The primary problem with this unit is dreadful, sloppy, sometimes dangerous construction. The Neanderthals who constructed this trailer should be fired and held responsible for their lazy, crazy, zero-pride-in- workmanship. A great number of our problems had to do with shoddy plumbing. X. Water heater went out almost immediately. X. Leaks in bathroom hot and cold water lines. X. The city water hook up leaked for months under the bunk bed without us even knowing it. It flooded under the flooring and flooded out the underbelly shield. When we moved the trailer we discovered the problem because all the water gushed out of the bulging underbelly shield. X. Plywood subfloor is warped and rough and squeaky because of water damage. X. Leaks in kitchen sink plumbing due to shoddy installation. X. The kitchen faucet leaks under the "Formica" counter top causing a big blister which is getting larger and larger. X. Toilet seal is poor allowing the smell of raw sewage to seep into the trailer. X. The "Naugahyde" covering on all the cushions is pealing off making them look like they have leprosy. X. Both roof vents fell to pieces within weeks of getting the unit. (Forest River acknowledged they got a bad batch of vents.) X. Both propane supply lines coming from the tanks to the regulator leaked badly and had to be replaced. X. Trim is stapled on and falls off easily so I had to use screws to put them all back on. X. Anything you have to open up to fix you find what a horrible job the yahoos who built this unit did. X. One HUGE Safety issue that Cruise Lite should do a recall for. Our 5 year old was playing hide and seek with other friends. She went into the trailer and hid in the pantry and closed the door. We all looked for her for a long time but could not find her. Finally went out past the trailer and heard these muffled screams. I could not tell exactly where the screams were coming from. Looked in the trailer but it sounded like the screams were from outside. Looked outside and it sounded like they were inside. Our daughter was so terrified she could not answer me but only scream. Finally found her on the floor of the pantry under the first shelf. Under that shelf she could not reach the door handle so was locked inside. There is NO WAY they should use a door latch that cannot be pushed open from the inside. X. Arms on awning are too low and very easy to whack yourself on the head. X. Electrical outlet problems. GFCI outlet on outside of trailer appears to have never been hooked up. X. Another outlet is put in such an awkward location it is nearly impossible to use. X. A couple wall panels that were not stapled and just hanging lose. X. After a few months, the water pump began pumping the fresh water tank dry by pumping all the fresh water out through the city water fill spout. Still not fixed. Unbelievable!! X. We bought the trailer in Washington State. I figured it was insulated to at least have fairly good resistance to the cold. It does not. Below 38 degrees this thing is an iceberg! It sweats like crazy and molds up so bad it is probably dangerous to live in. X. I could go on but you get the point. I love the floor plan and I love towing it. The number one problem with Forest River is disgustingly bad workmanship, followed by low quality materials. Other than the water heater repair being paid for under warranty, nothing else has been replaced or reimbursed for by Forest River.

On Christmas we went to Florida everything seemed ok not the frig did not keep food frozen on gas . On the way back it was cold so we hen we stopped for a fest the furnace quit. Now it summer and we went to the Cap , turned on the air conditioning and it sounds like we have a jet engine running in the camper. Oh also the first ride out we went to Penn. and the drawers fell off there backing were they get screwed to the wall Alf all the cabinet doors were sagging. I tried to get it in for repairs on the furnace but they don’t answer or return my calls another camping world experience.
