This trailer was our first leap up from a pop up. We purchased spring of 2018 and have traveled extensively. Home based in NC we've made trips to Michigan's UP and and back down through Wisconsin. Another summer trekked to Maine and the Canadian border. A couple trips to Florida. And many trips to various destinations 2 to 4 hours from home. So this trailer has been over some rough roads and seen a lot of use. It's held up very well in my estimation. We have had a few minor failures but considering it's a small home traveling down the road at 65 mph I would expect that. So we've had several minor failures that I've been able to repair requiring 2-4 hours of my time. We did have a catastrophic tire blow out in Maine a couple years ago on a tire that was properly inflated and showed no signs of impending failure. I think Rockwood is now equipping their RVs with Goodyear tires but the 2018 model came with China bombs on the wheel. We are in the market for a new rig but only because we now need a bunk house for grand children. Otherwise I'd probably keep camping in it for several more years. I hope our nex rig hold up as well as thin one has. To the best of my knowledge my rig came with a 1 year warranty. I have never contacted the dealer or the factory for warranty service or repairs. Anything that needed fixing was just easier and less expensive to do myself.

We purchased our 2018 Riverstone in Jan 2019, and headed out for a tour around the country for 1 1/2 years, then lived in it full time in Florida for 3 1/2 years The livability of the 39FL is fantastic. The kitchen layout is perfect for the amount of counter space (the island), allowing me to have everything I needed right at my fingertips, no walking across the room for supplies. Also, having a residential fridge gave me plenty of storage space to stock up, and the lower freezer drawer is large. We always traveled with the fridge on, never had any issues. The induction stove is just as good as having a gas stove, in terms of controlling cooking temperatures. The convection oven was large enough and cooked evenly, I could even bake muffins, cakes and bread. (We do not have a traditional oven). Dishwasher is small, but works great, nice to not have to wash dishes by hand! The front living room gives just enough separation, and I liked the built ins for storage (one side held all my crafting and sewing supplies), the TV flipped up and held all our books and DVDs and the other side held all our files and important household items. Having both bump-out couches turn into beds was also a plus for having family stay with us. Recliners are comfortable and the 60” TV made for great movie nights. We also have the dual shades, one for sun, and then full coverage. The bathroom is very functional given it’s size, again, plenty of storage. The bedroom, being in the rear makes it a quiet place to sleep, and with the bureau, over-the-bed cupboards and double closet, there is plenty of storage. Washer dryer location is easy to get to and the bed is a great place to fold laundry. Another feature that is key in the Riverstone is the 4” insulated walls. It is very quiet, and we have been in areas that were cold, around 30 degrees and we were warm and toasty with the heat on. The bedroom and Living Room fireplaces make it cozy and warm. Nothing like having the bedroom fireplace on before you get up on a chilly morning. The rig towed smoothly, turned well and made many it up may steep grades and switchbacks with ease. Now that we are done traveling, the layout of this 39FL is going to be the starting point for building a tiny home. I want to keep that kitchen!

We have towed our R-Pod several thousand miles. Many enjoyable trips, but have had to do repairs after each journey. I continue to be amazed at the low quality of the construction of this unit. The typical drain pipe support breaking, twice now. We are lucky to not have had electrical failure by now, based on the experience other owners. Fixed some rain leaks and interior trim that needs to be refastened all too often. Now the final straw is that the poor design has inadequate support for the slide out wall, which is collapsing. No frame support built in, and the supporting wall is distorted to near complete failure. It seems that newer models have those frame supports built in, but that Forest River no longer provides the frame supports for this model for a mechanic to install. This unit will soon be unrepairable. So much for trusting Forest River products. From the first year, it was apparent that they care very little about customer satisfaction.

The wall unit that holds the TV bounced away from the wall , made a mess of the ceiling. Th e rear cap has seperated off the floor, the insurance co.will pay $5,000 for that and the wall unit. I first purchased the trailer the cheap Chines tire blew, tire warranty covered only the warranty on the tire $30. The damage was over $1,000. Forest River would not cover anything. I purchased the parts from them at full price. Water pump went out. I would not recommend a Forest River product.

Spent time in the winter and was very warm without any freezing of any pipes with skirting. Would highly recommend!

I received no warranty work in which I expected the warranty work to be completed within the first year and they closed their doors. I contacted forest river and received no help from them either. The sink cracked as the screws were put in too tight, the cushions came and never fit, I never received the remote for the awning and slides, I didn’t receive the self leveling that I ordered. And ever since everything keeps falling apart on this trailer I would not recommend Forest River to anyone :(
