We purchased our 2018 Riverstone in Jan 2019, and headed out for a tour around the country for 1 1/2 years, then lived in it full time in Florida for 3 1/2 years The livability of the 39FL is fantastic. The kitchen layout is perfect for the amount of counter space (the island), allowing me to have everything I needed right at my fingertips, no walking across the room for supplies. Also, having a residential fridge gave me plenty of storage space to stock up, and the lower freezer drawer is large. We always traveled with the fridge on, never had any issues. The induction stove is just as good as having a gas stove, in terms of controlling cooking temperatures. The convection oven was large enough and cooked evenly, I could even bake muffins, cakes and bread. (We do not have a traditional oven). Dishwasher is small, but works great, nice to not have to wash dishes by hand! The front living room gives just enough separation, and I liked the built ins for storage (one side held all my crafting and sewing supplies), the TV flipped up and held all our books and DVDs and the other side held all our files and important household items. Having both bump-out couches turn into beds was also a plus for having family stay with us. Recliners are comfortable and the 60” TV made for great movie nights. We also have the dual shades, one for sun, and then full coverage. The bathroom is very functional given it’s size, again, plenty of storage. The bedroom, being in the rear makes it a quiet place to sleep, and with the bureau, over-the-bed cupboards and double closet, there is plenty of storage. Washer dryer location is easy to get to and the bed is a great place to fold laundry. Another feature that is key in the Riverstone is the 4” insulated walls. It is very quiet, and we have been in areas that were cold, around 30 degrees and we were warm and toasty with the heat on. The bedroom and Living Room fireplaces make it cozy and warm. Nothing like having the bedroom fireplace on before you get up on a chilly morning. The rig towed smoothly, turned well and made many it up may steep grades and switchbacks with ease. Now that we are done traveling, the layout of this 39FL is going to be the starting point for building a tiny home. I want to keep that kitchen!

Spent time in the winter and was very warm without any freezing of any pipes with skirting. Would highly recommend!

The floorplan is perfect, and the camper has plenty of room. However, for the cost, the product is made with poor quality material. Our camper is a 2018 and was not used very often until last year. The up/down (not rollout) windows came apart last year, they aren't covered by the extended warranty or the manufacturer. The skylight above the bathtub is cracked and water is leaking in, not covered because it's caused by the sun. How is it possible that a sky light isn't made well enough to standup to the weather.

We purchased our Cedar Creek in 2018 and lived in it full time for a year and a half in 2019-2020 in western South Dakota, a portion of that time being the third coldest winter in South Dakota's recorded history! While other full-time RVers were dealing with frozen pipes, our unit handled the below zero temps successfully, thanks to the tank heaters, custom skirting, and other typical winterizing measures taken. We have two house dogs, one an 85 lb. black lab, and we didn't have any space issues having them in the RV. I worked remotely, so we replaced the tri-fold couch in the 2nd bedroom with a sit-stand desk for my computer workstation. I also used the 2nd bedroom/office as my vanity, clothes closet and dresser, and coffee nook. We also wintered in it for 6 months in Arizona, November through April, and the two A/C units kept up with the 80+ degree days. We were very comfortable. The electric fireplace in the living room helped warm the RV when nights were cool. The only reason we are selling is because we downsized to a Class C so we can make shorter trips and I am able to help drive. Although we like our new Class C, it does not carry the quality of workmanship, cabinetry, and furniture as our Forest River, so we will miss that.

It's now been 4 years since the purchase of our 2018 FOREST River Wildcat 34WB 5th Wheel so I feel I can provide an honest review. First I'll give the good because that's the quick part. The floor plan is great & the Coach had plenty of storage inside & out. The exterior has a nice appearance. That's where good ends. This is our 2nd New 5th purchase & this Wildcat is quite possibly the worst coach from a quality & assembly stand point. Interior fit & finish: Numerous pieces of the coach's interior trim came loose in less than a year, due to lack of fasteners & adhesive. The Tech who repaired the problems said it looked like they started to install the trim & walked away with out completely finishing the job. Flooring: The flooring throughout the coach looked great, but is horribly cheap & improperly installed, areas cut unevenly, poor quality carpet, installed loose. Slideouts: 2 of the 3 slideouts had to be adjusted not long after the coach was delivered & 1 again 6 months later. I'm glad we are on a permanent campsite and do not tow this Coach because I'm sure the slideouts would be an issue each time it was towed. Furnace: Someone did not put much thought into installation of the furnace. It's extremely difficult to access since someone decided it would be a good idea to eliminate the exterior access panel and make it necessary to remove a wall in the front pass- thru storage and crawl into a tiny space for access. After you reach the furnace, you must dismount the furnace to gain access to the electrical panel, where the circuit board & sail switch are located, these are both known to fail. You now have extremely difficult access, costing 4 times the amount of labor that would normally be involved for repairs. Then to top off the furnace issue, the design engineer thought it would be a good idea to put the black vacuum breaker check valve, for the black tank flush, directly above the furnace inside a wall cavity that has no access panel. The problem being that these vacuum breakers are known to fail quite often & leak. Where does it leak? Directly onto the furnace causing damage to the electronics. Due to the lack of access you have zero ability to check it occasionally and find a leak while its minor. Does Forest River Intentionally designing their Coaches with built-in, guaranteed problems? Kitchen: Another ridiculous idea by a design engineer was eliminating the exterior vent for the propane cooktop/oven. Instead they had a range top microwave in the design that vents to the inside of the coach, causing excess moisture build up inside the coach while cooking, rather than use a perfectly good, tried & true design of venting the cook top to the outside. RV's are already moisture sensitive, why intentionally trap more moisture inside? Windows: at least 2 windows were improperly installed, making them difficult to open and close. Due to this poor installation the windows will always be difficult because there are no adjustments once installed. Quality Vontrol Inspection obviously never occurred or the Inspector just completely ignored the many flaws in workmanship. Never again will I buy a Forest River product.

I think most of us that have been RV'rs for a few years and have had a few different RV's have come to understand that no manufacture is without faults. This RV is perfect for 2 people or a small family of four in every way. The weight distribution on this trailer is perfect for a heavy duty (properly equipped) half ton or 3/4 ton truck. A short bed is fine due to the Rotating Sidewinder King Pin. The one major issue I had was on it's madden voyage from Tennessee to Florida Gulf. I have always been particular with maintaining proper air pressure in all of my vehicles, especially when towing. Coming back to Tennessee on a narrow two lane highway in southern Alabama, a right side tire shredded. Limping into a freshly cut hay field, I changed the tire with the spare. Of course it was very hot outside. We then happily returned to the road and no more than five miles later, another tire shredded. Now, we have a problem. We limped another 5 miles into a Dollar Store parking lot in the middle of nowhere. Called whichever tire guarntee company that came with the unit. 2 hours later, a tire dealer 50 miles away called. I asked that he bring 4 new Goodyear Endurance tires as I was done with Carlise made in China. tires. To be clear, I ordinarily replace RV factory tires with Goodyear after a trip or two for this very reason. Well 3 months of haggling with the dealer and Forrest River direct by emails to every executive I could find an email for, they agreed to pay for the new tires after seeing pictures of the blown tires. Both tires blew the tread off like the old re-treads of years past. They didn't lose air, just the tread.. Of course there was some minor fender damage that the factory fixed also. Lesson learned, never drive off a dealer lot with made in China tires. This is the only issue I have had with this RV since. On another positive note, I am noticing more and more new trailer manufactures are using Goodyear Endurance tire. I like to think that just maybe my misfortune and strong email exchanges with the Forrest River execs may have played a role in getting the industry to stop putting cheap tires on RV's.

With 6 slide-outs and a large living area in front it is very comfortable to stay in for long periods of time. The full Kingsize bed is pretty good as well. Lots and lots of storage space especially in the Kitchen and bedroom. Like taking your home with you on a camping trip!!!
