We purchased this unit brand new. We were looking at other models but we thought Winnebago had a much better quality so we paid almost $5,000 more thinking that we were going to get a better unit. A soft spot in the floor developed. So I researched it and found that that model between 2015 in 2019 had that issue. We brought our unit to a Winnebago dealer. They looked at the issue and said it was not from water leaking in. When we asked Winnebago what they could do for it they told us nothing. It is clearly a defect in the way it was built. They have fixed others on a good faith repair who were original owners. They said the warranty had lapsed. Now we're stuck with a $4,000 repair bill. When I called Winnebago to talk about it they brushed me off. They were going to always get back to me after each phone call and never did. Marquardt RV in Oregon Wisconsin lookrf the unit over and did their best to get Winnebago to fix the issue. Markquart RV was excellent to work with. This will be the last Winnebago we ever buy.

This is the perfect trailer for a family with small kids. It was our first trailer and very easy to understand all the systems and super light/easy to tow. We used ours a lot in six years and everything was surprisingly durable — just don’t let your 7 year old try to swing from the bedroom cabinet door. The black tank release valve failed (got stuck) so we had to replace that (apparently it’s common on Micro Minnies), and we had to replace the axle because the folks at Discount Tire placed the jack in the wrong location while replacing the tires. Other than that (which wasn’t Winnebago’s fault), it’s been an awesome trailer and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting something small, comfortable and easy to tow.

The Micro Minnie 1700BH is a great travel trailer for a family looking for something light but with all the space and functionality. It fits a family of 5 easily and it is very easy to tow. You can see the excellent quality of Winnebago products on this camper. The only thing we didn't like is the lever system used for the sewer drainage, but we learned it is pretty standard. I would recommend this camper to others.

Excellent to tow with small truck or SUV. 3000 lbs dry. It has everything that most bigger rigs have, just less walking space inside. Lots of storage. We love ours. The quality is evident after being in lower end trailers.... read more
