Through the years we have put tires on it fixed a small roof leak ourselves and just recently put a new water pump in. But overall it was warm in the cold camping , cold in the hot camping & for the most part everything worked most of the time. Replaced AC after 3 years but overall we have a had a great time with this trailer!

We purchased this unit brand new. We were looking at other models but we thought Winnebago had a much better quality so we paid almost $5,000 more thinking that we were going to get a better unit. A soft spot in the floor developed. So I researched it and found that that model between 2015 in 2019 had that issue. We brought our unit to a Winnebago dealer. They looked at the issue and said it was not from water leaking in. When we asked Winnebago what they could do for it they told us nothing. It is clearly a defect in the way it was built. They have fixed others on a good faith repair who were original owners. They said the warranty had lapsed. Now we're stuck with a $4,000 repair bill. When I called Winnebago to talk about it they brushed me off. They were going to always get back to me after each phone call and never did. Marquardt RV in Oregon Wisconsin lookrf the unit over and did their best to get Winnebago to fix the issue. Markquart RV was excellent to work with. This will be the last Winnebago we ever buy.

We looked for a long time for a travel trailer with an excellent and spacious layout. I have to say that HANDS DOWN this model has the best layout I've ever seen. It was very spacious and very well thought out. The bathroom was spacious with a generous area for dressing and shaving. The super slide and the dinette made it very livable and inviting. The bedroom has just enough space for both people to get in and out of the bed from their respective sides. The problem with this model and year is that it LEAKS. BADLY. We had it brand new and a few months after owning it the leaks developed from the bedroom side of the trailer. The leak was so bad it damaged the interior walls, the closets, the storage below, etc. The warranty department informed us that NONE of the Winnebago products are warranted against leaks. We finally got it repaired and then it leaked AGAIN in the same spot. Evidently, there is some design and manufacturing flaw with the endcap of the trailer and the attachment. We had it repaired AGAIN, and then we sold it for a major loss. Will never buy a Winnebago Travel Trailer again.

This is the perfect trailer for a family with small kids. It was our first trailer and very easy to understand all the systems and super light/easy to tow. We used ours a lot in six years and everything was surprisingly durable — just don’t let your 7 year old try to swing from the bedroom cabinet door. The black tank release valve failed (got stuck) so we had to replace that (apparently it’s common on Micro Minnies), and we had to replace the axle because the folks at Discount Tire placed the jack in the wrong location while replacing the tires. Other than that (which wasn’t Winnebago’s fault), it’s been an awesome trailer and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting something small, comfortable and easy to tow.

Dear Sir/Madam, My wife and I own a Winnie Drop, model WD1780, VIN 54CTW1H13J303****, purchased in March of 2018 from Lazydays in Florida. During the one year warranty period the dealer had to attend to seven issues: a rear window leak, the awning that was loose on one side, the side skirt of the slide-out that was loose (and still is), the holding tank indicators that did apparently not function properly (they still don't), ceiling strips that were loose (they are again), the white strip on the slide-out that touches its rubber gasket, and all three external cargo doors that were warped and leaked. After expiration of the warranty period we had to attend to the following issues: 1.A malfunctioning air conditioner, at a cost of $ 150. 2.Twice on a non operating heater, first at a cost of $ 120, later at a cost of $164, for a total of $ 284. 3.A fridge that freezes all contents (and still does), diagnosed but not repaired at a cost to us of $ 152.90. 4.An external support bracket of the sewage pipe, at a cost of $ 220. (also cleaned out the connection between the toilet and the black water tank) 5.A cracked braking drum, requiring two new drums with bearings, at a total cost of $ 486.09 (potentially a very serious hazard) If this was a car in Massachusetts it would probably fall under the lemon law. I am inclined to post a factual review on the popular social media sites, but will wait 2 weeks for your reply. Regards Ellen and Richard Lacroix P.S. We have submitted this review, more than two weeks, on "PissedConsumer", the complaints web site listed on Winnebago's own site and got no reaction from Winnebago

The side wall on one side of our blue trailer is badly faded and the decal looks like it has rusted. I have never seen a camper at any age look this bad. Neither Winnebago nor the dealer will do anything for us. Their warranty states that dark colored side walls must be washed and waxed every three months. Also, the camper must be moved frequently so that the sun does not always hit the same side of the trailer. The idea of washing and waxing a camper every three months is ridiculous. Had I read the warranty, I would have taken my money elsewhere.

We purchased a 2018 Winnie Drop new last year. We were so excited when we downsized to this trailer. The first time we had it out and I showered, all the water poured out from the bottom of the trailer. It took 2 months for it to be fixed because the dealership was so busy. Turned out Winnebago didn't let the glue dry on the plumbing, soo the water didn't go into the grey tank. It leaked out underneath the trailer. We were really upset with the workmanship, but tried to keep a positive attitude. A few months later, we were at an RV Resort in California with the temperature at 97°. We left our senior dog in the trailer with the air conditioner running. We have a security camera in the trailer so we can make sure he's doing okay. After a couple of hours, I noticed him panting alot. We drove back to the resort right away. It was a 20 minute drive. When I opened the door, I immediately knew what was wrong. The air conditioner had stopped working. I got him outside where he immediately started vomiting from being over heated. Thank God we had a camera so we knew to come back. Otherwise I don't know if he would have survived. We brought the trailer back in. They told us the air conditioner can "freeze" up and stop working. The only thing we can do is pay $1000.00 to have a thermostat installed to ensure it doesn't happen again. I can't tell you how frustrated we are with this rig. A big reason we have it is to leave our senior dog inside when it's best for him. Now we can't trust this rig with him in it. When I called Winnebago about it when it first happened they said "that's a bummer". Really???!! So very disappointed. Worst choice in trailers ever....
