This RV is perfect for families. The bunkhouse gives kids a perfect place to rest and play with a sliding door than can easily be shut or left open. The outdoor kitchen is large and a great addition to the trailer. Setup was simple. I would definitely recommend this trailer.

We have owned this rv for two years. Cheap manufacturing job & materials!! Pros: floor plan & color scheme, ok for two adults & 1 child. Cons: dining room table, a/c is loud, thin mattress, metal shavings & saw dust everywhere, tub drain leak, shavings & saw dust under tub, screw holes at panels easily stripped, wallpaper seams wrinkle. Upgrades: new shower head. Repairs: dismantled tub/shower stall to repair leaky drain, reinforced platform supporting tub to make more sturdy/less bounce. Reset bathroom door.
We are enjoying our camping experiences & will slowly make upgrades. New dining room table/wall mounted & black out curtains.

I have owned my heartland pioneer for almost 2 years. Seems as if I have to take it to the shop every time I use it. Warped wall boards, leaking drains, problems with taillights, refrigerator went out, bad slide seal, and I could go on and on. I will never buy another rv associated with this brand ever again....

I spend as much on repairs as I purchased the rv for. I am not happy with it at all.

I bought this POS from a dealer in Quebec. I was about 3 hours on the road heading back to Nova Scotia when I noticed the door was flapping open and closed. On closer inspection the door hole was cut to big and the door wasn't latching properly. I had to use tie downs and strap the door closed. The very first trip we got a rain storm. The unit leaked like a sieve up from in the bedroom. That was fixed under warranty. The electronic board in the furnace went. It took 6 months and lots of lip service from the Quebec dealer before we got reimbursed for that repair. There was tons of small stuff. the cupboard drawers no longer works. screws fell out of the cupboard door latches. The laminate pealed off the counter because there was almost no glue. I had to re-glue it the whole thing. Half the LEDs on my awning are out. I've had to replace the battery (250.00). And the mattress is a joke. We went out and bought a real mattress after the first time we used it. Not sure if Heartland ever made good quality trailers as this was my first one. I just know this POS is totally laughable. Initially Igot very angry at the whole thing but so much went wrong I just had to laugh. The one positive thing is that I could probably go work for an RV dealership doing repairs if I needed to.
