2017 Forest River Sunseeker reviews

I have emailed many time about the unit and have talked with the manager Cody a few times. No one has gotten back to me. I would say customer service is not there strong point nor is wanting to sell rv's. I would ask to speak to the manager but having done so this is only a place to window shop at. Show less

Since the day we bought this it has been nothing but problems!One thing after a another air conditioner,refrigerator(countless times been in for service),electrical(kitchen lightssometimes work,but If you bang on it will light,that's safe) ,bedroom shade always falls down,slide not working ,water pump leaking and rotted the wood. And many more ITS THE MOTOR HOME THAT MONKEYS BUILT!!!! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!DO NOT BUY!!! We just want restitution for this over priced piece of junk Show less

The first day we took it home the RV slide for the bedroom had to be repaired because it got stuck. Our generator lasted about 15 minutes and died . They replaced 2 generators before we got one that worked. The decorative trim falls off all the time so we just put it in a drawer until we bought a nail gun. The slide under the dining room has had water pour in while we were driving and it fills up the storage bins and ruined everything. We took it back twice and it was never fixed right. Now they say it's our problem. The awning separated at the seams at the ends and had to be replaced. Door handle fell off. Drawers in the wardrobe in the bedroom won't latch closed. I have notified Forrest River and have not yet heard back from them. We are retired and because of the water damage that was never properly fixed, the floor behind the drivers seat is spongy and I'm afraid the wood and floor is damaged. No help for this problem from CW or the manufacturer. I still owe a great deal of money and I can't even sell it. These companies have "stolen" our retirement dream and money. All I can say is LEMON!!! Don't buy from them. Show less

We liked that it was comfortable and had so many nice features. The freezer had plenty of room. The stove worked great. Lots and lots of storage space. Outside faucet/shower great for doing dishes. Nice low lighting with LED for awning at night. Show less

Drove through 36 states, did not tow, coach easy to drive and can park and get into most places. Great rv for 2 people. Not crazy about putting air in duel tires. Cushions in dining area could use a few more inches of padding. Show less

We have owned several Sunseeker motorhomes over the years and have been very impressed with. The quality is better and along with more options than the other comparable brands. The overall quality is at an advantage. The 3100SS model was the backbone of the 31ft Sunseeker Lineup for many years. Great outside and inside storage along with the Super Slide in the livingroom. In 2016 they discontinued the model. We then bought a 3010DS two slides with a similar layout to the 3100SS has been a great RV as well even though we lost quite a bit of outside storage. If you want to go smaller without the class B price tag I would recommend the 2290s. Easy to drive and operate. Coming from a service writer I would recommend the Sunseeker, Coachmen, and Forester models over the other comparable class c brands. Show less

bought new spring 2017, put 4000 miles on it first summer we've owned it, can't wait for next season...a few nit-pickety things but nothing major, and our dealer is all like," yes,sir,no,sir,three bags full" every time i bring it back there to fix the nit-pickety things- -Great little RV, took an 830- mile road trip way up Maine woods, 300 miles of the roughest, ugliest road you've ever seen (Golden Road/Telos Road, to the Allagash trains-rattled, beat and banged for mile after mile of washboard and dust,soon as we got back to pavement she quieted right down and no leaks and nothing shook loose...drove it thru the commercial truck wash to clean it up before we drove home, no leaks, anywhere, even under the high pressure wash- looking forward to wearing this one out and getting another, someday-what a great little RV! We purchased our new Sunseeker in Feb. 2017. From the date of purchase until now, we have had nothing but problems! These problems include: refrigerator and a/c not cooling, "Bigfoot" jack system not working (twice to the dealership for this problem alone),camera system stopped working (we don't know why),window blind fell down for no reason, a stress crack formed in the windshield (again for no reason) and we had to get our windshield replaced. In addition, we are having problems with our airbags, suspension, and we need to have a steering stabilizer installed to keep the coach from drifting all over the road. In addition, we keep finding bits of cut wire fragments,molding pieces,and screws all over the floor.So, I am waiting for the day when a cupboard falls onto my head, or something like this. I am in the process of getting the coach classified as a "lemon" because we have not been able to use it at all this summer because of all of these repairs. Forest River has done NOTHING for us in terms of compensation for loss of usage etc. I will never buy another Forest River product again! Show less

The RV leaks and the door is bowed plus numerous other issues Its been seven months and still no authorization on fixing the door or cameras.I would not purchase another RV from these people.Take my advise and save a lot of pain and purchase from Tiffin or Winnebago Show less

We are extremely disappointed with this RV. The problems we've encounted are too numerous to list. The overall workmanship and quality control are poor. We will never buy another Forest River RV ever again. My husband refers to it a a POS. I think he is being far too polite. Show less
