We were new to RV;s and trusted the salesman and service department that this Thor Toy hauler was a great deal We flew to Tampa and purchased it. From day one, we had issues. We managed to get it home with the overhead bunk sliding off the brackets. Luckily we had purchased an excellent extended warranty and additional coverage to have someone come to our house and repair it. We had to take it to the RV dealer in Huntley and were treated poorly but the Service reps and the Service manager and were told to come back as we would have to leave the RV there for an undetermined amount of time. WE went back and General RV in Huntley did not honor our extended warranty, I was yelled at by the Service Manager and the overhead bunk slipped off the brackets again on our way home. To make a long story short, we have spent more time in service than on the road with this POS RV. Nothing works works correctly, if at all.. As soon as current repairs are done I am getting rid of this Lemon and will never ever buy a Thor product again. Stay away from General RV in Huntley also. Never have I been so disrespected. By the way, my husband is a Retired veteran and I am a retired nurse. Shame on them

As of today March 16, 2019, I have replaced: the engine at 33,000 miles, the generator, the leveling system which the warrantee did not cover, the toilet, the water pump, the water selector source valve, a TV, the in-dash unit, slide motors and another needs repair, the bathroom door framing is loose and needs reinstallation, the black tank vent tube broke, spilling black water all over the water compartment and wafting fumes inside the coach while driving, one of the slow rise shades doesn’t work, the upper escape window flew open while driving down the road sucking out the shade, another TV needs replacing, the furnace has required repairs repeatedly, and the place isn’t insulated for any weather outside the mid-70’s. That’s not all the problems I’ve experienced but is all I can remember off the top of my head.
