I lived full-time in a 2016 Thor Vegas 24.1 for about 2 years on end. I absolutely loved it. I think this model is the perfect size for 1-2 people. Some of the construction was cheap or basic, which is why I would rate the overall quality slightly lower - there are some measurement imperfections, many drawer latches didn't line up well and had to be reconfigured, and the materials are lower-quality overall. However, this unit still held up incredibly well on the road, and at campgrounds. It's not very good for cold weather places, as the home is not very well insulated, and requires a lot of heat to stay comfortable. But in warm climates, it's an absolute dream. The size was great, and the RV is fully usable even when the slide-out is not extended. That is one of the best features of the floor plan - along with the bathroom doors being fully opened/latched to include the hall space, which basically doubles the bathroom size. Not many blueprints on the market that can do that. I love the bed arrangement, and the ability to join the beds together to make what's roughly equal to a king-size bed. Makes for a very spacious and comfortable sleeping zone. The doors on the bathroom also serve great for sectioning off the bedroom from the living space in case where are guests sleeping on the queen cot or drop-down bunk. I would definitely recommend this RV to anyone looking to live a minimized life on the road, or a maximized weekend warrior experience.

We were new to RV;s and trusted the salesman and service department that this Thor Toy hauler was a great deal We flew to Tampa and purchased it. From day one, we had issues. We managed to get it home with the overhead bunk sliding off the brackets. Luckily we had purchased an excellent extended warranty and additional coverage to have someone come to our house and repair it. We had to take it to the RV dealer in Huntley and were treated poorly but the Service reps and the Service manager and were told to come back as we would have to leave the RV there for an undetermined amount of time. WE went back and General RV in Huntley did not honor our extended warranty, I was yelled at by the Service Manager and the overhead bunk slipped off the brackets again on our way home. To make a long story short, we have spent more time in service than on the road with this POS RV. Nothing works works correctly, if at all.. As soon as current repairs are done I am getting rid of this Lemon and will never ever buy a Thor product again. Stay away from General RV in Huntley also. Never have I been so disrespected. By the way, my husband is a Retired veteran and I am a retired nurse. Shame on them

Drive five hours to look at this RV for ten minutes to turn around and drive five hours home. Motor Home was misrepresented by seller. Walked into RV that smelled like a dead animal, Once RV started up sounded awful, parts to RV laying on floor like a jigsaw puzzle, table was just plywood that was covered up and both captain chairs looked like a racoon attacked them. The seller knows NOTHING about the RV. Before driving out he said he would sell for 50.000, I guess he would!!!! Not worth 30.000!!!! Be afraid of what else might be wrong.

We acquired our unit in December of 2019 from a dealer after having 4 new golf cart 6 volt batteries installed. We drove it to Florida for 3 months and pulled a Toad. Experience down was good. In FL the unit did well with the heat but I recommend a driver side awning for the large windows as the side gets very warm. Love the resi frig and have found service is easy in our area. We had to replace the temperature control inside the unit to regulate the temperature in the frig. Not happy with the 3trax slide out system on drivers side. Replacing it will cost us $2100. I don’t think it’s strong enough for the application. The motor has come loose and has a constant rattle even after retightening. Ford chassis performance is excellent. Love the 22.5 aluminum wheels. On an generator is excellent. Kitchen sink drains into the black tank on bath and a 1/2 model, very odd. If you don’t have a washer the second grey tank is only used by the bathroom sink.

I pull my 2017 Ram 4x4 and with the triton 10 E450 Chassis don't even know it's tracking behind even through the mountains. The only complaint is the quality of the side mirrors. One operates intermittently and both have a sub standard coating of chrome. Overall, I would recommend this to just about everyone.

We traveled all over the US putting 14,000 miles on in less than a year! This was the perfect size for us as a retired couple. It was easy to drive and easy to park. Would fit in any of the National Park campgrounds. Love the king size bed, and having a door to the bedroom that you can close. We installed a motorcyle ramp on the back which worked out great. The ford V10 had plenty of power cruising through the Rockies! The only problems we had were a furnace sensor that went bad, that was easy for me to replace, and a slideout controller that needed to be replaced. The Thor customer service people were very helpfull and easy to talk to. Overall we really enjoyed traveling the country in our ACE 27.1!
