With the latest V-Ride Chassis and ZF independent front suspension, the Thor Tuscany 40DX drives and handles like a dream, much better than any solid axle front end coach, which includes the Newmar Ventana, and Tiffin Allegro Red and any Phaetons with a solid axle front end. The steering is more accurate and the turning circle much tighter. With air ride suspension, it rides like a cloud without much float. The 40DX also comes with a more powerful 8.9L Cummins diesel with 450 hp and 1250 pounds of torque so going up grades is easy peezy, even when towing you end up passing semis like they are standing still. I find the best cruising speed to bee around 72-73 mph where you still can achieve 10 mpg. Step it up to 80 mph and your mileage will fall to about 8.5 mpg. I just finished a 4,000 mile trip around the United States towing a 3,500 pound toad and averaged about 9 mpg but speeds were 75 mph and above. It will peg the speedometer (85 mph) and then some but your a heavy vehicle and an emergency stop might get a bit hairy. The huge front windshield is fantastic for the driver and passenger. It's like seeing the world in IMAX. The quality of the wood and appointments are first rate and the sofa, theater seats and dinette are super comfortable. Another nice feature is the half bath which is accessible while driving (not for the driver). Having two bathrooms is a real positive. It's without question, the best value in a diesel pusher, especially a coach with the independent front suspension and 60 degree steering cut, plus the advantage of the 450 hp Cummins diesel which also makes this diesel so quiet. It almost can pivot on its rear wheels. And and has a single rear axle which makes it much easier to maneuver especially, backing up.

This a great affordable RV, excellent for a lower budget or a first time RV. The Majestic 23A is a very basic RV, not too many bells and whistles, but that also means less can go wrong. I have taken ours on several trips, a few being 1000+ mile trips and it drives well and is very comfortable. Towing is fine, but it does tend to require low speeds on steep roads. The overall length is excellent and allows you to park in most driveways with very easy maneuverability. I would highly recommend this RV especially for anyone looking for a lower cost unit or a first time RV.

I lived full-time in a 2016 Thor Vegas 24.1 for about 2 years on end. I absolutely loved it. I think this model is the perfect size for 1-2 people. Some of the construction was cheap or basic, which is why I would rate the overall quality slightly lower - there are some measurement imperfections, many drawer latches didn't line up well and had to be reconfigured, and the materials are lower-quality overall. However, this unit still held up incredibly well on the road, and at campgrounds. It's not very good for cold weather places, as the home is not very well insulated, and requires a lot of heat to stay comfortable. But in warm climates, it's an absolute dream. The size was great, and the RV is fully usable even when the slide-out is not extended. That is one of the best features of the floor plan - along with the bathroom doors being fully opened/latched to include the hall space, which basically doubles the bathroom size. Not many blueprints on the market that can do that. I love the bed arrangement, and the ability to join the beds together to make what's roughly equal to a king-size bed. Makes for a very spacious and comfortable sleeping zone. The doors on the bathroom also serve great for sectioning off the bedroom from the living space in case where are guests sleeping on the queen cot or drop-down bunk. I would definitely recommend this RV to anyone looking to live a minimized life on the road, or a maximized weekend warrior experience.

We were new to RV;s and trusted the salesman and service department that this Thor Toy hauler was a great deal We flew to Tampa and purchased it. From day one, we had issues. We managed to get it home with the overhead bunk sliding off the brackets. Luckily we had purchased an excellent extended warranty and additional coverage to have someone come to our house and repair it. We had to take it to the RV dealer in Huntley and were treated poorly but the Service reps and the Service manager and were told to come back as we would have to leave the RV there for an undetermined amount of time. WE went back and General RV in Huntley did not honor our extended warranty, I was yelled at by the Service Manager and the overhead bunk slipped off the brackets again on our way home. To make a long story short, we have spent more time in service than on the road with this POS RV. Nothing works works correctly, if at all.. As soon as current repairs are done I am getting rid of this Lemon and will never ever buy a Thor product again. Stay away from General RV in Huntley also. Never have I been so disrespected. By the way, my husband is a Retired veteran and I am a retired nurse. Shame on them

So before buying this coach we owned an Allegro and a Holiday Rambler. Both diesel pushers. When we decided to become full time RVers, we traded the Allegro for this coach (a) it was slight bigger and it has 3 slides. We have put 21,000 miles on it, and bought new tires. THAT'S IT. It is a great motor home, no mechanical problem, no engine problems and very comfortable for the two of us.

Was very easy to start using this motor home for traveling. I was able to handle it well and there are nice storage areas and electronic controls. The awning is push button as is both the 2 slides. This makes their setup very simple. The space is useable with the slides out or even with them in if you are taking it across the country and want to stop in rest areas. With a U-Haul style tow dolly it is very easy to tow a smaller vehicle to use for work. There were some issues that I had to figure out or take to the shop to find out where certain buttons were. I don't find the books that came with the vehicle to be informative enough. I needed to go to the shop to find the second black valve. I also had to pay for a mobile technician to show me where the reset button is located under the bed. I thought the antennae was broken because of items shifting in the cupboard shutting off the antennae. I have been the only owner. The only down side for me has been leaks which have all been repaired. The water tends to run down the side and leaks have been around the lights. A seal test was completed in February. You will be able to see the places where leaks have occurred and where repairs have been made. There is no structural damage. The awning does have professionally applied tape secondary to surviving a hail storm in South Dakota.

The 29G is a good vehicle. We've been across the country three times in ours and its been overall a comfortable drive. Sidewinds will push it around and I'll pull over rather than fight it if it's getting pushed too much. If you're very sensitive to fuel cost, you shouldn't consider any Class A or C vehicles ... fuel stops will be traumatic. Everything seems to work well in terms of the galley, electrical, plumbing and slide outs. There is good closet and drawer storage but the lower drawers are not accessable unless the rear slide is extended. I have five gripes: The rear of the vehicle extends 'way out past the rear wheels and drags on most driveways ... steep ones you won't make it up ... probably common with most 29 footers. The jack clearance requires a very cautious approach to speed bumps ... it'll land hard on them if you're going too fast. The plastic trim strip over the passender cab door has shrunk and pulled away from it's mounting channel. It's too short to return it to it's place. The tranmission wants to down-shift a long time before it needs to when you're on a rise and often drops down a couple of gears. It makes the cruise control pretty useless unless you're on a level road. Probably a Ford issue.
