Keystone Springdale 282BHSSR Con!! GARBAGE! SINKING SHIP! LEAKY. PATHETIC DEATH TRAP. LEMON ON WHEELS! The true description can fill this page. Within 2 years, the slide floor rotted out with water damage. The entire bunk corner and rear rotted out with black mold and water damage. The entire roof above slide rotted out with water damage and black mold. As I removed the wallboard, the handfulls of black moldy fiberglass insulation about choked me out. I could see that only one half of the staple shot into entire aluminum frame was in the frame. Total death trap. ALL OF THIS HAD BEEN REPAIRED BY MANUFACTURER. LOL!!!! They put in epoxy plugs that shrunk, and broke away. There is do much more. DO NOT EVER BUY A KEYSTONE TRAILER. !!! Pro: I have an awesome 04 ram 1500 hemi that will pull this joke to the dump nicely. I'm being asked to list pros. THERE ARE NONE!!

This is an excellent couples travel trailer. Short enough to navigate National Parks and large enough to offer two "living" areas separated by the mid-bathroom. One can go to bed early or sleep late while the other reads or watches TV or even cooks with little crossover. The added distance between axles axles this passport more stable and balanced while towing. The quality has declined over the years but this 2016 was really well built considering the price. I wasted money buying an extended warranty, not because it didn't have issues, but because when it did need a covered repair, the repair would take so many weeks or months to complete that I ended up paying for the repair at an independent shop just so we could continue using the trailer. Pretty much once you drive it off the lot you are flying solo. Overall we had five years and over 19,000 miles of good times with this trailer.

I purchased my 2016 outback 325bh brand new from Pete’s RV in northern VT. I’ve had problems from day 1. Interior wood trim work falling apart, outdoor kitchen leaked in water which rotted out the bunk house floor, roof leak in bunk house, bathroom door handle needed replacing, bunkhouse door handle needed replacing, main bed lifts up for storage but plywood broke, outdoor kitchen door struts didn’t hold door up from day 1, water heater always needed to be reset to refire, more but I’m getting fired up just thinking about it. I actually sold it to someone knowing all of the issues but got it for a very little cost and he is very handy so he wants to spend time fixing it up. I do y have the time nor the want. I would stay clear from these units.

We love this travel trailer. It is roomy enough to walk around in when the slides are all the way in. super comfortable living areas when the slides are out. I love the privacy of having a door to the master suite instead of a curtain and the bonus of an actual door to the bunk area allows us to close off one area (maybe to gaming in the bunkroom) while we watch a movie in the living room area. It is much like a 2 bedroom apartment, albeit a small one. The outdoor kitchen is fantastic. I can cook and prep everything outside without having to make a mess inside. Another thing I like is having dual ACs. I can cool the master area to suit me and leave the rest of the RV at a different temperature or I can leave the master AC off and use just one AC for the whole thing. The only drawback is that I wish it had more storage areas that are large. There are lots of cabinets for small items. So many that I don't know what to put in most, but larger items usually get put in the back of my truck during travel.
