So let’s face it, an RV is basically a cardboard box on wheels. So going into this thing I wasn’t expecting much. Low expectations it’s hard to be disappointed. All of the warranties are bad because even the manufacturers know it’s unlikely they will make it past the first couple years. We bought our 2016, used in 2019. So all that being said I will say we were pretty lucky the first few years. We love the floor plan. It’s open, lots of counter top space, the carpet is wearing as expected. Things were holding up. We did replace the faucet after the first 2 years. We did all the things you are supposed to do. Wash, wax, caulked, kicked the tires. Then the inverter went out, ok replaced. Then the batteries, because hey you are supposed to replace every 3 years. Ok they went out we replaced. The air conditioner literally creates ice and kicks it out the vents! Then the gel coat was gone, now delaminating is on us. Of course nothing covered by any insurance. So $10,000 bucks we gotta put into it because no body is going to buy this thing knowing the work that now has to be done. All I can say is if you are looking at an RV expect issues. This is not a house it’s a trailer rolling down the highway likes it’s being hit by a 5.5 earthquack.

If I don't pay attention, I will forget the 42-foot fifth wheel is behind me. It rides beautifully. I cannot say anything negative about the Heartland product. I had a 30-foot travel trailer prior and I liked it too. But, this one makes me feel like doing the RV thing. Heartland makes a truly great product.

Terrible rv! We bought this used and when we bought it we thought the auto level jacks were the only things broken. Got it home and found the microwave wouldn’t work without sparking. The front ac unit leaks like crazy when we use it and leaks all over the bed. The furnace doesn’t work, tried replacing the controller and that didn’t fix it. The living room slide wouldn’t stop leaking and has now ruined the paneling inside. The rear bathtub leaks and pour out water under the back of the camper and I’ve also had to replace the toilet because it wouldn’t stop running and flooded the back bathroom. I’d never buy another camper made by this manufacturer!! Terrible quality and so many things are broken and it’s only 5 years old!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!

I purchased my fifth wheel in 2016 after looking at it taking my Thor motorhome in for repairs. It looked top in and had a lot of room for my wife and I. We purchased it and was going to pick it up the following week. They called us and said they had to make some repairs because the tanks on it had the lines not hooked up all the way on fill and exit sides. Our first time out for two weeks was a learning curve. The blank tank exit shutoff didnot close all the way so the liquid was draining leaving solids, which was hard to clean out. Had it fixed and it lasted for a while and did it the same way again. this was after warranty expired. Had a water line break under kitchen sink while we were out eating and came back to a flooded RV damaging the carpet and fake wood all around the floor in kitchen and also later a slide leak that damaged the wood around fireplace. I started now tearing out the carpet and flooring to get rid of the smell and will have vinyl planks installed. Next to change out all the swollen wood. I also have a lot of little things that have broken or fell apart over the last couple of years. I will never purchase another Heartland RV. They never responded to me on the issues I have had. No quality and for the cost it should be awesome.

Love the floor plan of this RV but after 3 years the poor quality and craftsmanship is showing. The molding on outside is sun rotting and falling off, the wallpaper inside is peeling off in spots, dining bench broke twice because screw was not in right place, the outside walls os unit appear to be fading in spots, etc. we spend more time taking it in for repairs or repairing it ourselves then we do camping in it. And unfortunately the place we bought it has the worst service in the world.
