If you are in need of a nice, comfortable place to live this is a great choice for a couple or small family. We bought this travel trailer new in 2016 from Camping World in Calera Alabama. We have enjoyed our time with the camper very much. We have NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS with this camper. The floor plan has worked well for us. We are very happy with the insulation. The inside temp was very good from both heating and air conditioning. Noise from outside was not a problem, even in some crowded sites. We pulled the trailer with a full size pickup truck. We have anti-sway bars, power tongue lift and mirror extensions. They are helpful. Towing is not difficult, even on some rough and narrow roads. The set-up is simple. Many videos are online to answer your questions. We chose this length for the smaller size sites in many parks. We know that most state and federal parks have size restrictions. Also, it needs 30 amp power. If this size camper fits your needs, you will not be sorry for your purchase.

Since we have owned our 2016 DS310 my wife and I have had numerous issues. First an electrical issue that continuously blew fuses for my tow vehicle (two different trucks and even the Brand New Service truck at dealer had issues with plugging into my trailer). After 3 attempts to fix they think they finally got it. However, they had to remove the Front Fascia and most of the front of the trailer to fix the grounded wires between the frame and the floor. Now move onto a new issue that is a result of the previous work OR a manufacturer defect. I have a rotted floor in the Right Front Storage area. It is the width of the storage area and approximately 2-1/2 feet into the center of the trailer. It was found when something I was storing in there about fell through to the ground since the particle board was totally rotted out. On-line research about this revealed this issue has happened before on earlier years. I have a water leak in the rear of the trailer from under the outside sink. The cold water supply is leaking from the clamp connection. BUT when I opened the panel under the sink to see it, I found Sunflower seed shells, metal shavings, and a hole punched in the wall (between the sink and the bathroom) with nothing going through it. The filth and mess under there can only of come from the factory when it was being built. And finally I have a Split Wall in the Trailer next to the Power Breaker Box. It has separated from the floor to about 3 feet up. The trailer is stored on level ground. NONE of this should be happening, period! All of this is extremely upsetting since I have only used the trailer 7 times in the 1-1/2 years of ownership. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HEARTLAND PRODUCT. I really just want it fixed and gone! I cannot in good conscious travel with a travel trailer that will fall apart around my family.

I bought this in March 2016. The first time I used it the commode leaked around it. I took it to dealer for repair. They kept it for 6 weeks. When I picked it up they had put a new seal in and said there wasn't one installed at the factory. My next issue is a rotted floor that is rotted from the door to the front storage. The next issue is that the table seat collapsed and I had to put screws in it to keep someone sitting there from getting hurt should it fall again. I will never again buy a heartland brand nor recommend that anyone does so. This camper is parked under a cover at my home and hasn't been abused.
