So our RV is a 2020 on a 2016 frame. I won't buy any other product than a Forest River Product. The 13 foot garage makes use for an office, pantry, extra closet and chest freezer when staying a place for up to a year. Theater seating with fire place and entertainment center making movie watching enjoyable. The loft above make for extra storage when you don't have the grandchildren with.

Great floor plan and concept, it goes down hill from there. Major trim issues, electrical issues non working mirco, tv, refrig, outside outlets, inside outlets and GFI. Extremly cheep shelving, most collapsed under minimal weight. End tables fell off walls, water pump quit working, gas hoses ruptured, and hot water heater cover fell off and that was just the first trip. Second trip after back to dealer for repairs. Which most were not done or repaired correctly. Would not recommend this poor quality and lack of availability to have dealers do warranty repairs.

Even though everything is under warranty, the dealer only put bandaids on major problems. Shower leak, Dometic Fridge we are having to replace the cooling unit after loosing over $300.00 in groceries, removable speakers are missing, digital read out on leveling system fell apart, screw cover molding on outside was missing. And many more problems. NO QUALITY CONTROL FROM FACTORY TO DEALER

Now it looks, like it jus going to be a finger pointing issue. I AM UPSET!!!! I don't care what kind of fix they think they can do . It is totally unacceptable for what I paid for this trailer and no more than I used it. So yes I am looking for legal help. Any help is appriciated.!!!

We have owned several RV's from class A to 5th wheels. We love our Thunderbolt XLR 415AMP. Its roomy, comfortable and meets all our needs. We chose this one because of its size and garage for our razor side by side. What We do Not love is Forest River's stand on Warranty Work and who should do it. We had several issues with our new unit. We purchased it from a well known dealer and took it there for warranty work. On our last attempt to have some warranty work done, the dealer was not going to be able to get to our unit for several weeks. We had an out of state wedding to attend and were taking the RV with us. Our leveling system was having issues. We took it to another reputable dealer and Forest River would NOT cover the cost of the repairs. We have tried to contact them on this several times and even emailed them a copy of the service order. Forest River has not attempted to contact us or reimburse us for the Warranted Repairs. We will surely look at other manufacturers when we buy our next RV.
