Bought it for traveling to motorcycle rally's and a few weekend trips. Have owned it for 3 years and have had only one slight problem. Front light on front of camper by propane tanks somehow got water in it. They replaced it and that's it. Plenty of room for four people with the queen bed in back. Nice campe... read more

I would rate Forrest River as a 5 star product. I love this toy Hauler but the layout just did not suit our needs / plans. Yes I bought a bigger one. I would rate Forrest River as a 5 star product. I love this toy Hauler but the layout just did not suit our needs / plans. Yes I bought a bigger one. This trailer has better features that my new trailer does not. With a dry weight of 4871 it’s so easy to pull with my 1/2 ton pickup I don’t bother using the anti sway bar. Yes the gas mileage will suck but the ride is smooth. I would say this is a perfect trailer for someone single or married that likes to travel and take their bike also. I’m only giving this one up cause I can’t keep 2 but it’s not going to be given away either.

We purchased our thunderbolt at end of 2015. All we have had is one issue after another. Last year we noticed that there was something going on with the frame. Took it to dealer. After one month it was sent back to manufacturer the frame in many places was not welded or the welding was poorly done and braking apart. Very scary that this would have broken apart while on highway. We and others could have been severely injured. It has taken 6 months for us to have our trailer back. We have a few other issues that need taken care of but the dealer has no time for us. Would never purchase another forest river product, very poor workmanship and no pride in their work

By the time reached our destination, now top 2 or 3 rows on same side are buckled out! I am NOT a "Happy" camper! Furthermore, air conditioner cycles off and on too much. Stay worried that it is going to burn up!
