2015 Tiffin Phaeton reviews

I have been full timing for more than 25 years. This is my fourth motorhome. I wrote a blog called rvlivingfulltime.com. I have owned a 2015 Tiffin PHAETON QBH for 5 years. It is the best and higher quality motorhome I have ever had and I have own 2 Beaver motorhome. You should know Beaver Motorhome were know for their superior quality and heavy duty build construction. Systems are straight forward, easily fix problems with factory reps who are really smart. I pull a 2017 F-150. Don’t even know it’s back there. Camera coverage is total. Handling is easier than driving tow vehicle. Great viz all around. In Florida AC is crucial. This is a really cold bus. Perfect Tv presentations. Have 2 DTV sats. One HD for parked viewing and a roadie for going down the road. Comfy BR and very roomie lavatory for in coach showers. I usually carry half tank for fresh water down the highway use. Toilet etc. lots of hang up and storage for clothes. Stacked washer/ dryer is perfect money saver. All in all a great piece of equipment. Show less

I enjoy driving it. The floor plan has worked out well. It is just like being home with all the conveniences. You can have all your favorite clothes, the food you like, medication, and toiletries you always use. You don’t have to unpack & pack all the time. It is the best way to travel. Show less

Lot of issues for the money paid. It was in the shop more than we used it. Traded for a 2016 Allegro Bus 45 ft. That was even worse. Major problems. Pipe broke under kitchen sink, blinds would not go up windshield, step to door broke, passenger seat footrest broke, toilet seal broke, the list goes on. We owned it for less than a year. Tiffin told us come to Alabama for a couple of weeks and we will fix everything. Really? A six figure brand new coach? We had it 6 months, got rid of it. Never again. Got a Redwood fifth wheel 2018. Perfect. No issues and super happy. If we ever did a bus again it would be Newell. Show less

Retired, full time RVer. The Tiffin Phaeton 40AH is packed with the finest quality components in the industry. We are still enjoying our coach and loving its comfortable accommodations. Great floor plan with awesome storage. Show less

This is one of the best full-timer motor homes on the market. Despite not being as long as other rigs, this coach has more interior cabinet storage than the others. The pass-through bath provides ready access from the living area without the necessity of losing space to an extra half bath. The Tiffin quality cabinetry also makes for a very attractive interior space. The coach is on a quality freight liner chassis and the 380 horsepower Cummings provides more than enough power while achieving 9.7 miles to a gallon of diesel fuel. Our coach has no dishwasher which enables a handy pullout under the counter area for a Convenient waste basket. We replaced the couch and large recliner with two recliners and used the exposed wall space for added indoor storage via rectangular wicker baskets. A drawback to the design is that the console dinette results in the dining chairs stranding partially on carpet and partially on tile making for a crooked stance. We corrected this by having a carpet extension designed with a lip that slides under the slide and results in a level carpet floor for four dining chairs. Show less

The quality just isn't there. The serice is slow at best dealer support is nearly none existent. If you are very very patient the RV may eventually come around. I expected far more than I received for the primeium I paid. We have had the RV since March and the problems just keep coming. I have had over 30 quality problems some very large making my using the motor home impossible. It's pretty, the layout is great. I'm just waiting for the day when the gremlins go away. The freightliner chassis is rock solid. All of my problems have been with what Tiffin put on it. Show less

Top of the line RV with all the comforts of home. When parked and all slides open it's just like being in a beautiful apartment. Although she's large, driving is a breeze. Smooth ride, comfortable seats and no need to stop to eat. You have everything you need. Show less
