Didn’t have any problems with Thor but I did have a serious problem with the Ford engine 24,000 miles nine months out of warranty Ford is telling me I must replace the engine due to broken rocker arm amongst many other problems if you buy a door make sure you do not get a Ford engine they suck it’s going to cost us $15,000 to fix we bought this for our retirement and now our dreams went up in smoke stay away from Ford an engine is supposed to last longer than 24,000 miles Show less

Thor RV's make a very good coach and they are affordable. The Thor A.C.E. is a great example. Plenty of room with the slide out. All the amenities needed for a great camping experience. Nice comfortable queen bed, great shower, plenty of cooking space and appliances and super AC and heat options. It's also a pleasure to drive. The vinyl on the chairs, and couch could be of better quality but they are nice. I prefer sitting on cloth so we cover it with a sheet. Very pleased with my Thor Show less

My wife and I purchased our Thor ACE new in 2015 for a family trip to Canada. Had an amazing trip, motor ran great, no issues. So far we have 25k miles on it and look forward to many more. Added the 5 Star engine Tune Kit, made a huge difference on performance and milage and much easier for towing. Show less

The RV has been fantastic. My wife and I have decided to buy another Thor RV, only this one will have a Diesel engine and a washer dryer in the RV. In a year when I retire it is our desire to travel the United States and we feel that we will get a little bit more with the Diesel engine. We started looking at new RV’s and we decided on another Thor branded RV. We both like the layout and the size and feel that this will be a perfect RV for anyone that wants to travel around the western states or the southern states.The engine has plenty of get up and go and the gas mileage is not bad.With the slide out pushed out and the king size bed there is plenty of room. The RV has 3 tv’s, a gas cook top stove and a gas oven. There is also a microwave, a large shower and plenty of closet space for storage. The back up camera and two side cameras make it very easy to maneuver. The electric awning makes it extremely comfortable when parked. The outside storage is plenty and the outside speaker system is great. It has two new Michelin tires on the front wheels and the back four have plenty of tread left and are in good shape according to the dealer. It has been stored in a covered facility since it was new. It also has full body paint vs the decals which can peel over time. It has been a wonderful RV for us. Show less

This RV has been stored in covered storage since new. With the slide out pushed out the RV has plenty of room. The RV has 2 new Michelin tires on the front two wheels. The RV has has all of its services. My wife and I have decided to buy a new diesel pusher so that when I retire we can travel the U.S.A or possibly going to Canada. Our goal is to travel to every state in the United States. We have enjoyed the Thor A.C.E. and would buy another one if we wanted to travel in the western half of the United States. We have enjoyed sleeping in our own bed, eating food cooked in our own kitchen and using our own bathroom. We are both looking forward to owning a new one and taking off for 2-3 months at a time. excellent quality- no mechanical or equipment problems, very easy to drive. Very good engine power. Gives about 10/12 miles per gallon. Very stable during driving. Very easy to maintain on a monthly bassis, had no trouble on the road. Show less

Purchased new in 2015 for $74,000. Have installed about $5.000 in after market upgrades and modifications. Our third RV, best one we have owned yet. Like it better than the Journey DP we owned. !4,000 miles, 2 1/2 years with out major issues. Never been to a dealer for repairs. Never failed to get us there and back. Show less

I like this unit because I can drive it. However, the quality is SUB PAR. Drivers window difficult to open and cannot be fixed. Paneling and molding in bedroom fell off on first trip. After 10,000 miles, the dash AC fried and will cost $300 plus to replace. The levelers screach. The under compartments separated from the coach body -fight with Thor to fix. We continually receive recalls. Trying to get assistance is impossible from THOR. Ford does not cover anything because they supplied the chassis only and claim problems are Thor's responsibility. We have owned many RV's. this is first MH. Looking at models with better ratings: Tiffin, Fleetwood, Damon... Good Luck Thor Ace owners. This is not a safe travel vehicle. Show less

Have enjoyed this RV very much. It is our 1st and have been impressed with the performance and ease to drive and park. It had a few small quality issues that were corrected by the dealer. Haven't had a problem since. If I had know my children and grandchildren would like being with us so much after we bought it I would have gone larger. I must say it still provides our needs most of the time. The ACE is a great entry RV for someone not wanting to spend a great deal. I give it 5 stars for value, beats Forest River hands down in my opinion. My next unit will be another Thor. Show less

We are now 1.5 years into our ownership of a newly purchased 2015 Thor. We have noticed sloppy craftsmanship, immediately at the end of the warranty period the hydraulic leveling system blew up because of extremely cheap hoses. The expensive to replace Jensen junk electronics in these coaches don't last. When you try to get service, advice or answers from Thor, they send you to Ford (chassis), Jensen (electronics), etc. call these places and they send you back to Thor because they built and installed. You will be on your own so have good aftermarket service centers around you. Show less
