2015 Prime Time Avenger Travel Trailer reviews

We bought the Primetime Avenger new in 2015.I loved the layout of the trailer just the quality was awful. We had trouble from the beginning. We had trouble with the awning. It would go out but had to be rolled in by hand. This was fixed but still goes in very slow. The cushion on the booth was torn and I knew right away the material quality was low but I hoped for the best. The carpet was horrible and very cheap. When the slides came in after the first couple of years they were leaving dirty greasy like smears. Both recliners and sofa pealed but what put the icing on the cake is when we were traveling and the trailer started to fish tail so we took it to the next dealer we saw. They came and told us we were lucky we made it there because the frame was cracked almost into. After this experience, I will never buy another Avenger. Show less

DO NOT BUY!!! This trailer is a total piece of crap. We have had issues from the very first year with this unit. We had floor issues,(the outrig supports failed),had to fight to get that issue fixed and now have major water issues with our slides. Do not buy and support this manufacturer!!!!! Show less

Primetime manufacturing is extremely poor and they do not stand behind their quality. Upon receiving our RV we noticed the wall in the bunk house was bowed and the tape detached. They said that happens when traveling. When you walk on carpet in slide nails poke and puncture the bottom of your feet. The nails in ceiling have a yellow discoloration. They screwed the wood in so tight, they split the wood and didn’t repair. The screws on the outside kitchen were all broken and not repaired. In the master room the wall has little bumps coming out of the wall. The caulk job was very poor. It was like they were at the end of the caulk gun and left an 1/8th of an inch of caulk for about 2 ft. All insulation underneath the bottom of the front of the RV retained so much water that it started coming through the floor and rotting the walls on both sides near kitchen slide and living room side. There has been one thing after another since purchase. We have contacted them numerous times and are told it’s maintenance issues we failed to conduct. Show less

This camper was leaking from the slides at first and we fixed that, then the floors started rotting and appeared to be water damage even in the dry season. We have not found the leaks but the whole floor from front to back is mushy and gives way into a hole if you try to walk on it. Very dissatisfied with quality of this camper. Show less

These campers are absolute JUNK! Do not waste your money. Our camper is 3 years old and we have had nothing but problem after problem. If I knew we were buying such junk I would of bought another tent. And when you try to get a hold of prime time no one will call or email me back. Show less

First trip,p trap on outdoor kitchen not even hooked up (leak),paneling coming loose,staples at slide coming through carpet,bedroom leaking but was told no leak found, 3 times until I found soft flooring and tore it out to find what the dealership said they fixed was covered in mushrooms under the master bed and the floor,subframe You could tear out with your hands and manufacturer after months of calls declined fixing it and insurance won't because it's a defect , I was told by the dealership the seams were covered with plumbers putty on these and when asked why I wasn't told this when purchased they said it would've hindered a sale so thier selling crap and they know it stay away from forest river and primetime Show less

Prime time dose not stand behind manufacturer defects and their customer service is a joke.I would highly recommended finding a different manufacturer.used mine a handful of times even had dealer doing maintenance on it and the floor rotted out from underneath the camper had a manufacturer defect which caused a small water leak to run underneath the floor which was not able to be seen until the floor rotten because the underbelly is sealed told me tough luck deal with it Show less

I am highly disappointed is this camper. It's 2 years old and leaks all over the place. It's junk, so no one buy one! And only a one year warranty what kind of crap is that. I'd be ashamed to build a camper like this Show less

Primetime SUCKS! Camper looks pleasant but the quality of this product is horrible and the manufacturer is well aware of problems with this model and do nothing to help the consumer. Shameful that manufactures can get away with robbing from the consumer. Show less

Our 2015 Avenger has leaks and Prime Tiime is completely unresponsive other than to place ALL responsibility with the dealer. The construction is shoddy at best and it's obvious that a sound quality assurance program is clearly not in place. Buyer beware!!! If ours hadn't dropped so much in value this past weekend we'd be getting rid of it an upgrading to a Prowler for sure!! Shame on you Prime Time for the way you treat customers. Had you worked WITH us I am sure the review would have reflected that. Show less
