My wife and myself had bought the Truck Camper one year ago separately and put it together with a lot of investment and extras. We started our fulltime year-long trip heading north all the way to BC and back to AZ. The Camper kept us worm in the winter time and during the summer we hardly used the AC. We preferred to stay dispersed rather than an RV park. We were surprised to see how roomy and cozy was the camper consider it size without heavy slide outs with comfortable wide sleeping area. Parking in public lots, shopping areas was easy to maneuver and would fit regular spots. We kept it light and the truck did extremely well. The truck is a 2012 Ford 250 XLT, crew cab, super duty diesel 6.7 power stroke. The truck is well maintained and carried us with ease. I did have to invest in new shocks, brakes, sway bars and air bags. The sway bar was a very effective in deed. We are now concluded our memorable trip and waiting to sell our TC till next time. .

Great travel trailer. Vought it used in 2018 lightly used from someone who decided they wanted a larger model. Purchased it from Galaxy Campers in Ontario, California. They are wonderful to work with. We added solar and backup camera and an additional battery. Trailer pulls like it's not even attached to our Silverado LD. Lives much larger than it is with a full size queen sleeper and a slide out u shaped table that accommodates four comfortably. Could not be happier with quality of construction and value compared to less expensive trailers that are built with inferior materials and workmanship. Holding tanks are all 45 gallons. Trailer weight capacity exceeds 1500lbs.

It’s 4 season so it will handle anything and everything you throw at it, and that’s including hot weather. It’s super insulated. We traveled with 3 people and 2 dogs, and it was the best time ever. I’ve seen plenty of other truck campers, but not many are this level of quality and durability.

I owned this model for 4 years and LOVED it. The extra counter opposite of stove is a great coffee bar area. The dry bath is wonderful. I have owned 3 "longbed" Lance campers. I also enjoyed the rear kitchen model. I am looking at 9'6" models now with different truck. I drove 3 states on 4 different trips, multiple short camping weekends, concert, car races, and even a wedding. This sleeps 5 comfortable, 2 adults and 3 smaller children and/or 4 adults. Boondocking and or boating/side-by-side weekends were perfect. Highly recommend a 1 ton srw minimum best would be a 1 ton dually and Air bags.

I bought my 2015 955 truck camper spring of 2017.First problem was basically all door and cabinet slides hinges latches Ect. had to be replaced or repaired to small of screws holding them in place or just not quality for the application. Then the slide out problems started showing up. The Seal on the bottom rolled up into a ball under the pull out slides and jammed the slide half in half out. The remote for the jacks and slide is the worst remote I have ever seen to change the batterie (is a not always available) you must take 4 vary small screws out after two times the screws are striped and will not remove. Now after just 4 years of use ( 6-8 times per year on weekends) the frame around the slide out is cracked. This causes the slide out to drop 4 to 6 inches and jams in the out position. So far I have tried to contact Lance with no return phone call or e-mail. Estimated cost of repair from local repair shop 2 - 5 grand

This is an ideal Travel Trailer for a couple as it has two swivel rocking chairs instead of a couch. It does however have a u shape dinette which is easily transformed into a large bed. Another feature of this unit is that it two entry/exit doors. This is convenient when traveling as the dinette and the bathroom are accessible when the slideout is retracted. Also a separate entrance to the bedroom. The bedroom is separated from the main kitchen/dinette area. We love this Trailer however due to age we feel it is time move to a different type as we move along this aging process. This trailer is in exceptional shape from a quality manufacturer.

Camping in our Lance only a few times a year, and taking very good care of it in the meantime, we didn't expect the kitchen sink to leak (extensively) by year 4. Also we were surprised to see unsightly buckling occuring on the outside on the back of the trailer. The TV doesn't stay put during travel, it takes a sumo wrestler to secure the pin. If you're looking for a place to relax inside the trailer, don't expect to find it sitting at the dinette, it's not comfortable. The automatic retracting awning (a big selling point) did not work, and as a result we had to have the awning repaired on our own dime. This much-hyped trailer has been a disappointment to me, and I would not purchase another Lance.

This is our 4th Lance t.c. The overall quality of Lance truck campers has deteriorated since our first one. After driving it home the first time, we realized the hardware was loose in all cabinets. After tightening the screws we subsequently took it back to the dealer to fix several factory blunders. We then took a 2500 mile trip. Closet doors failed, cabinets would not close, two of the doors fell off as the screws are much too small for the doors' weight. The outdoor shower handle crumbled in my hand and we ultimately had the water heater replaced as there was a faulty weld. At one point I had to take the hardware off the bathroom sliding door as it jammed and could not be open.our second Lance, a 990 took us all the way to Alaska and back without incident. We are selling the Lance as I am tired of making repairs that are a result of poor design and workmanship.

Dealer repaired for free the slide out track with higher quality material. 2. Furnace sail switch went out and I replaced it. 3. Shower allows water to run out at both ends after it runs down the wall. Which I see as a Design problem. I have not resolved how to solve this problem. I would recommend this trailer to anyone.

We purchased our Lance in 2015 very, very slightly used. The former owner used it for 1 month and it didn't work for them. We have taken this trailer on many trips, approximately 30,000 miles from Massachusetts through Texas. We lost a knob somehow, but it was easily replaced. Any issues we had were small and easily repairable, nothing major comes to mind. This is a great little trailer and we have lots of fond memories, taking this trailer to two of our childrens weddings and even drove through Manhattan. We are trading this in for a larger Lance trailer as we enjoy traveling the U.S.A. and want a little more space. I would very highly recommend the Lance 1575.
