Would not recommend Forest River to my worst enemy.i have had nothing but problems with this trailer since purchase in 2015; This is not my first review, however last June one of the windows in the slider literally exploded into a million pieces . When we returned from our holidays took it to be replaced along with a few other problems. Forest River discontinued that design and the windows are not available. Apparently the windows have to be custom made at a cost of $2000. 00. It is now The middle of February and still no windows. So after market sales Forest River just takes the money and run. I have spent so much in the last 9 years I cannot do anything with this trailer

The worst trailer we have purchased fist trip out the water tank dropped on to the axel. Manufacture told me to take it to the dealer we were in the States at the time. That was only the beginning of the problems. Every time we took it out something went wrong. I have replaced every possible screw with hollow wall screws , which were not measured . Window covering are crooked I have spent over $4000. On repairs on a scale of 1 to 10. Minus 10 . I have so much money I have so money invested in it can’t afford to trade in. I could go on and on but I think you get the idea

When my mom told me she was downsizing to the stationary RV life, I thought she was crazy! She googled everything she could find and at the end of her search, nothing would do but this Forest River Rockwood Windjammer 3001W. She sang its praises (the closet! the storage! the big back window!). If was easy to set up and use. No cramped spaces, no hard to reach maintenance areas. She finally found one and brought it home - to live in our big metal barn. She pulled all the furniture out, replaced the boxy RV curtains with rods and pretty curtains (did you know you could do that?!?) and moved in all her pretty furniture. Took about a week before you could sit in her living room and chat while you watched the deer through that big back window. It was perfect. My two kids want to visit? Fine - there was plenty of room for them to play. My brother wanted to visit? He can stand up straight inside, and he's a big guy. Have to admit, I was a little envious of her little personalized paradise... She's downsized a little more to an independent living facility where someone else cooks and cleans for her, so her RV is looking for it's new owner. Wish I could talk my husband into it...it would make quite a she-shed... I can think of all kinds of people that would love this layout. Single adventurers, a couple looking to retire, college kid wanting to live on a budget, ranch hand, guest house - this was a great RV with it's original layout and furniture - opening it up and putting your own "real" stuff in it was even cooler. Definitely recommend this model.

This is literally a Home on Wheels The quality of Forest River Is rated high for being Very Well made As well as comfortable floor plans. The 36BHBS is Nicely designed Having the large sliding door as the main entrance gives it a feeling of home. Also Having the front Bunk room is great for children, guests, grandchildren, or turning the area into an office space, etc It's very spacious with the larger than normal living room, kitchen slide out. The master bedroom has a slide out as well with its own entry Love the spacious bathroom with lots of storage! You don't usually get much of that in most RVs. I can't say enough about this Travel Trailer Destination Trailer, Full Time living, etc

This is a great little camper I towed it with a 16 Toyota Tacoma and a 2020 4runner. 3 times cross country put at least 40K on it slept in it 300 nights over 5 years. A tree fell on the roof, no really bad damage, the floor sloped bit under the large slide out, so I had some gussets welded on and it brought it back up. Had a slight roof leak, that I stopped, ruined a little of the ceiling. Both black and grey tank pipe hangers failed on the road had to bungee and fix them. the converter fried but that probably was my fault because I left a growler of beer to freeze and explode and evaporate in the bottom of the pantry. Other than that the thing was a pretty good little investment so much so I bought 2021 195. Join a Rpod message board listen to the owners anticipate the flaws and enjoy being on the road. its all about the adventure anyhow. Campers are made to be cheap and light so do some mods keep up with the silicone and maintenance and rock on.

This 2015 forest river sandstorm is put together with cheap material for $55000. Was hauling my 2003 HD Road King when I hit a bump and the rear tire went thru the floor. After I removed the carpet and seen the hole from the tire the plywood that supports the weight is 1/8 of an inch thick. What baffoon makes a floor this thin. I replaced the section with 1/8 inch diamond plate so it wont go thru again on a bump. All together the lay out is great but the material junk. If I buy new again it wont be a Forest River cause they wont help you over the phone for issues. Also find a good used RV cause if you buy new as soon as you leave the dealership they wont adress your problems.
