2015 Fleetwood Class A - Gas reviews

We like to go into provincial and state parks. Having a motorhome any longer than 33 - 34 feet can and usually will make that near impossible. That's why we chose the Fleetwood Southwind 32VS. Its large enough to spend 6 month in (Snowbirds) and small enough to get into the good parks. The shorter length makes it easy to drive and handle and leaves lots of room for extras with the weight capacity ratings. We can also easily tow our Honda CRV and don't even know its there most of the time! I rated the factory warranty/support was rated as a 1 Star because we bought this unit used after the warranty had expired. Show less

We did a lot of research prior to buying and learned that this is one of the best (few) RVs that were built well enough for full-time living/travel. This motorhome is very durable and during our 4 years of ownership we had few problems. Our main complaint with full-timing in it is the Vaccuflush system pump. We had to change it out twice (we think because of constant use). We love the floor plan of 1.5 bath and especially the extra large shower with bench. We also have a washer/dryer combo. All the conveniences of home while on the road. Unfortunately the Flex-Steele couch and chairs peeled. We contacted Fleetwood and FlexSteele and both said that the problem was common in units built between 2015 and 2017 and there was nothing they were willing to do about it. We ended up replacing the couch ourselves, but not the chairs (too difficult and expensive). Overall, we love the motorhome. Our travels in it were comfortable. It drives smooth and towing our car 4 down was easy. This motorhome is exceptional. Show less

Comfortable walk around bed. Lots storage inside and out. Class a basement gives you tons of storage to know. The shower is large enough and tall enough. The splits bathroom is very convenient. Drivers and passenger seats are large and comfortable. The fridge and freezer are very sufficient for long-term camping. Show less

Easy to drive Great floor plan Tows my Buick Enclave easily. My wife finds it very drive able. My Flair does sway a bit when semis pass. Added a bar that lessened this this. I had a 30 foot 5th wheel and a small class C. Definitely liked this rv the best. Show less

Great floor plan! The sectional “L shaped” sofa is perfect for snuggling up after a day on the road. And has a fireplace, for those chilly evenings. We had a wonderful trip taking this rig all the way to California and then back by Route 66! Bucket list item: Check! With everything automatic (steps, awning, leveling gear, DISH TV) arriving at the next campground on the route was a breeze! Snug and secure, even when the neighbors were less than perfect. The Ford V10 chassis and drive train is one of the best on the road today. We could not have found a better rig, when we took off on our post-retirement adventure! Show less

Yes to everything except RVTrailer.com sux in customer service in trying to call them and forced to call when manufacturer of rv and model needed attention I will let the ad run but go elsewhere if our rv does not sell. It sure should….very nice and at least 10k below what it should be. Here I’m forced to write 200 characters so I might as well tell all of the truth! Show less

This is a great "family" RV. Plenty of space inside and underneath. It sleeps 8 comfortably. It even has two bunks for the kids with built in DVD player. No kids have to fight on what to watch. The Discovery is well made and high quality. The finishes are top notch. The residential refrigerator is big and makes plenty of ice. This RV comes with 3 air conditioners and can be used on 50 amp service. There are 4 tv's (one is exterior), with an in motion satellite dish on top. This is very useful on drives for kids or even your favorite sporting event. This is a comfortable ride and 380hp engine. Can tow up to 10,000 lbs. We love this RV and the only reason we are selling it is because our sons have gotten older and don't go with us. So we don't need ALL of this palace. Show less

This is my 4th motorhome and my 10th RV. This particular motorhome exceeded my expectations on ease of use and functionality. Being a single, female owner/driver, it was important that I secure a vehicle that was as automated as possible. The self leveling jacks, electric slide, and electric awning made setting up camp simple. I also love the amount of room inside the RV even when the slide is closed. That makes driving and traveling easy. I replaced all the lights with LED and I added solar panels to the roof of my RV. This allowed me to boondocks with plenty of spare battery power. I was a bit disappointed with the number of times I had to take my RV back for service the first year but the company did an outstanding job in all repairs and after the first year, I did not have any issues. This size makes handling and maneuvering easy and allows for easy access to all state campgrounds. This RV has been a true joy. Show less

Very nice motorhome with plenty of options incluing towing equipment and extended warranty until Feburary 28, 2021. Outside entertainment center with TV and CD/DVD player. Half bath in living area easy to get to while driving. Show less
