I purchased this motorhome two years ago 11 Nov 2021 Due to weather, illness, infirmity, we have never spent night in thing. We were seeking reliability review as we wish to travel during intense heat from Texas to New Mexico or Colorado/Wyoming 4 August 2023. With 28K miles We not ever having gone more than 25 from home in it, are doubting durability of motorhome. We are elderly couple 82-72 respectively. Are we over cautious to fear a long hot trip in 100+F heat? We fear breaking down between Wichita Falls and Ruidosa, NM This may be a ridiculous review.

As entry level motor home I expected problems. I have been happy with this unit. We bought a bunkhouse because we have a special needs child and the floor plan has worked well. I upgraded the suspension that made it drive-able, I think it is a must on the Ford chassis . For the past three years we go to Arizona for the winter and travel in the summer . Although a little tight we do very well As far as the RV itself I have had very little problems. Did not have one warranty problem. Time to upgrade but having trouble finding a floor plan that works as well as the 35BH .

This RV was an awesome unit for a family of five kids. We travel all over the east coast with no regrets. Coachmen when we had issues quickly responded and directed me in the right direction or solved the problem with me. My two favorite things about this unit were when traveling if I wanted a cup of coffee or even something hot to eat we could make it while going down the road. The other advantage with kids' bathroom stops drives me crazy. This unit never had to stop.

Love this motorhome! Amazing floor plan! Especially love having two bathrooms. The shower is huge, both bathrooms have skylights so are well lit during the day without having to turn the lights on. The stainless refridgerator freezer is large and holds a lot of food. The L shaped sofa is beautiful and faces the fireplace and big screen tv. I love that there are 3 TVs and 3 DVD players. One in the living room, one in the bedroom and the other outside! The side awnings open to cover the outdoor TV area. With the slides open it's so roomy inside. We're actually thinking about living in it and traveling when we retire. There is so much room in the under storage and it even has an outdoor shower! The CD radio has an awesome speaker sound system. With the retractable TV antenna we're able to get a lot of stations, even in remote wooded RV parks. This coach is beautiful inside and out. Every window has shades, and the power front sunshade is great. It's wonderful having air conditioning in the bedroom and in the living area. We don't bother using the furnace when it's chilly because the fireplace heats the coach up quickly. Can't say enough and we're getting great gas mileage too!

This 29BHS was our first 5th wheel bought new in 2015, we previously had an Arctic Fox slide in but as the family grew we upgraded. Love the layout, it is very nice that the kids bunks have a door and everyone gets some space. Only thing we would change is i would like reclining chairs rather than a couch in the living area. From a quality standpoint we have had no major issues but we have certainly had a ton of little issues, some highlights include - Faulty/leaking waste valve - Leaking toilet flange (cracked from factory), cupboard doors split, kitchen drawers not installed straight. Overall nothing a handy individual can't fix on their own. If you can't fix it on your own - owning an RV may not be for you. For the price - I believe the Chaparral Line up to be fair value and i would recommend others try it out.

Anyone thinking of buying a coachmen mirada!!!!!! Don't do it !!!! These RVs are absolute junk' I guarantee you will be so sorry you did. Please believe what you read about these pieces of crap RVs. My list of problems is to big to list. We had plans of living full time in ours.We spent like our life savings on it. Ben to the factory in Middlebury Ind 3 times at the end of the first year of ownership for a total of almost 3 months. That place is a joke! I spent much time in the factory and around town talking to people. And have seen absolutely no pride in anyone's work. They are under the gun so bad' The company gives them no time to do it right the first time. If a person misses a screw or makes a mistake' They give that person no time to go back and fix it if he wanted to. People in town say there is a big drug problem there i have heard from many people. I have had plenty of time to walk around town and do my research. They hire people every week to fill the demand they need, because many many people quit after finding out what it's like to work in there. Quantity Not Quality is job 1. It took me almost a solid year of bashing them, Nathan Hedges" Jason Brewer" The owners of Collier RV Jim in particular' In Rockford Illinois on Yelp to get any repairs done. Colliers could care less if they have a happy customer like they claim they do. Big fat lairs all of them !!! Fast forward to today, Now the floor on the bottom front outside of my living room slide is being pushed up into it from the front roller from it rolling back and forth i would suspect. So now it triggers the control module when going out to shut it down on the front motor. So then i have to go get in the outside compartment lay on my back get a magnifying glass use somthing pointy and do the reset procedure run back inside and push the button to get it to go the rest of the way out. You have to be kidding me. I met a guy in Grand Haven Michigan last year at Eastpoint RV Resort he said he had an appointment in Middlebury the following week to get his repaired for the second time. The same thing, He showed it to me. What i seen was long wide pieces of thin metal attached to the bottom of floor slide. And the front one had the whole corner tore up and soft underneath. And that was a repair that was done at the factory, What a joke. I wish i got his number to see how the repairs went for him. How it was repaired, Not only is my slide floor failing. The refrigerator is not attached to the wall in the cabinet so it is rocking back and forth in and out' I am worried that if i take a Right hand turn to sharp it will fall out. When i last tried to use the ice maker last summer 2019 water came out from under side of cabinet that it is setting in and all over before i seen it. So again save yourself a very very big headache and much pain and agony and do not give your hard earned money to Coachmen for JUNK, I had so many long reviews on yelp. That i had over 3500 hits on them. That is the only thing that saved me a few years ago. And i have to say that Nathan Hedges made me promise in order to get repairs done for the 3rd time in the early part of the second year of ownership' I would have to take down and remove my reviews on Yelp. Yes that is correct. But i am seriously thinking of going back on Yelp and let them have it again after i found my slide floor going bad last week. They think you have nothing to do with your money but give it to them for junk and repairs. My repairs cost me nothing' they even payed my gas bill for 6 trips back and forth to Middlebury. Still not worth the pain gut wrenching feelings you get when find out you have been screwed so bad. I had Lawyers hang up on me because i tried to go that route 1st. The RV industry is not regulated like the car industry is. No Lemon laws to protect you what so ever. When you sign the dotted line it's yours' Good luck.

We have spent 6-7 mos a year in this Freelander 21RS and love it. The best feature is the walk around queen bed and it sleeps better than the one at home. Usually you have to go with at least a 24 foot unit to get a walk around queen bed. The unit is setup very nice for long time living with big cabinets, sinks and lots and lots of storage. It is the perfect size for getting into a lot of boondocking spaces and all the state and national parks. We pulled a tow vehicle with no problems.
