2014 Palomino Travel Trailer reviews

Overall a good entry level camper. Never had an issue with any appliances, ac, heater or water heater. No leaks. Although we store in a carport and inspect roof often. Had to adjust slide a couple of times. Well build unit. Towed about 2500 miles per year on about 7 annual trips. Just sold to upgrade to newer camper. Going to smooth siding instead of metal siding which is always dirty and hard to clean. Had to raise camper 2 inches to fit with out 2500 Ram 4x4. Show less

We like our camper but had to deal with some issues. We are on our 5th Dometic A/C unit in 5 years. Vinyl peeling off of table cushions, chairs, and trim. Cracks and leaks in skylights, made real cheap. Not sure if I would recommend this RV to a family or friend. Show less

I have had a leak in the front side sense the day I bought it. I have took back to the company I bought it from over and over. They could not find it. I took it to a different person to find it he could not find it keep it 3 months.we sent it back to Forest River were it was made they sent it back and still leaks. I do not know what to do.I anyone has had this same problem and knows how to fix it please let me know Show less

I will begin by saying I had some issues with this unit from the day I purchased it from slide out problems to a slide out leak. But without getting into it, my review is about the service I received from Palominio. Absolutely amazing.I would like to say thank you to Kim Dobson, AJ Reedy and especially JR Summey for taking care of my issues and other things you repaired beyond my complaints. This trailer trailer's quality is terrible. The workmanship is awful . We have had to shower leaks repaired four times. The wallpaper peeled off and the counter top is coming apart . We also had to have the table replaced because it warped. Now the stereo, CD and DVD player had to be replaced . This Trailer is junk ! Show less

Purchased new 2014. Have used heavily taking trips from Louisiana to Grand Canyon to Yellowstone to South Florida to Missouri plus all points in between. Have been more than satisfied with trailer. Some areas of construction could have been better. Storage is really good. Cabinets and drawers are cheaply made. Removed the dinette, was not worth the space used. Added storage ottomans in its place. Added exhaust fan in bathroom, trailer came with only a vent, no fan. Added memory foam mattress topper. A/c Cools very well, will keep inside nice on low setting even in Louisiana's heat and humidity. Have been in 20 F and stayed warm with a 1400 watt space heater. No issues with any of the appliances or hardware. Certainly major value for the negotiated price paid. Tows and handles extremely well. Easy to back into tight areas. Very satisfied. Show less

This travel trailer is awesome! We have 2 young children and the back slide room is great for the kids! They can play back there, and best of all there is a door so their mess stays in back. The u-shaped dinette is very comfortable for the whole family. It is easy to convert the dinette to a bed. The sofa is comfortable. The kitchen is great and has a lot of storage. The bathtub is great for the kids and the cabinet in the bathroom hold a lot of stuff. More shelves below for even more storage. We added some command hooks for our beach bag and sweatshirts, and those have been very helpful. We love this trailer! Show less
