We full time, owned this unit since 2015. First thing we noticed is the the slides. They catch doors, door handles and trim pieces, all of which tear off when you extend and close the slides. The doors pop open in the rear room often. You are unable to access the rear room until the slides are open so you cannot inspect the room. So, you hear a crack and there goes another piece of cabinet door, bathroom door handle, etc. Poor design!
Build quality, extremely poor. In less than 4 years, we are replacing a lot of items way too often. Shower pan was installed poorly and cracked over time. Has been replaced.
"Four Season" insulation, please! If you call foil bubble wrap insulation, then please, spend a Winter with foil wrapped around you and see if you freeze. I followed up on the what the company called 4 season, they put a unit in a 32F environment and run the furnace 24/7. In return, the unit didn't freeze and the basement remained at 50ish degrees. Well, I live in North Idaho, it didn't make it passed December before we had pipes (that were poorly insulated) freeze. We were outside with a hair dryer thawing them too many times. We finally installed 3 porta heaters in the basement and had to run them full time to keep the pipes from freezing. So for the rest of our first Winter, our electric went through the roof!
Did someone mention roof? Had a roof leak in under 3 years. Started next to the roof mounted A/C unit. Fixed that leak, found another. This one was next to a roof vent, it appears that the "walk on" roof was not exactly walk on after all. The seal failed and allowed water to find its way through, ugh.
I can write a book on the subject. Please do your homework. I did (ex post facto) now buying a Newmar. Better build quality, less headaches, nuff said.
Peace

I bought a brand new 355 RK and still love the design and livability. The problem has been with assembly quality and the furnace. I have had the board replaced 3 times and still have issues. The slide in the back for the counter catches the cabinet handles and busted the wood trims. Wiring in the undercarriage is horrible, water and drain fittings come apart and the "insulated" tanks underneath are a joke.
I still love the camper but I have spent a lot of time and a decent chunk of money turning the camper into what I thought I was buying. I work construction and live in it 95% of the time. Just be prepared to rework whatever you buy. It is just typical these days.
