2014 Forest River Forester reviews

We love this RV. It is the perfect size for exploring. The 7,500 lb towing capacity, powerful V10 engine, rear air bags, 30 foot length, and class C cab make this RV fun to drive. Towing is a breeze. We tow a four door Jeep Wrangler and you hardly notice the vehicle behind the motorhome while driving. The Jeep just tracks right behind and there is plenty of power for easy cruising down the highway. And, once at camp, parking and set up are easy. Again, a perfect size motorhome. We have visited national parks, beaches, deserts, forests and more. The two slides make the rv roomy enough for adults and kids. The walk-around queen bed in back is comfortable and the large rear window gives you a great view of the outdoors from your bedroom. We have laid in bed looking out at lakes, oceans and more. The cabover bunk easily fits two adults or kids and is easy to get in and out of with the ladder. The microwave cooktop and oven make dinners a breeze. The indoor refrigerator is good sized and you have a second small refrigerator in the outdoor kitchen which makes packing easier and is super convenient when at camp. You can grab drinks or food without going into the motorhome. Really easy. There is a convenient propane quick coupler near the outdoor kitchen. This makes barbecuing simple as you have the outdoor fridge and sink near your bbq set up. You also have a large tv as part of the outdoor kitchen. Tailgating made easy. The indoor space on this model is fantastic. But, the outdoor kitchen and entertainment options on the outside make this model spectacular. A great entry level RV or second, long-term family RV. This is a great motorhome for us. It is dependable and reliable. Very easy to drive and maneuver. Very happy with it. It sleeps 6 but the living space is small. In our opinion it is not intended for full time living for a family. Maybe a couple. Great weekender. Show less

EXCELLENT 4 DAY BOON-DOCKER: I bought this RV new and it has been very reliable and fun to use. It maneuvers like a full size pick-up truck. It has lots of storage space in the external and internal compartments. Setting it up takes less than 30 minuets. Is fully self contained and will last up to four days on a battery charge and its waste tanks if used properly. The built in generator charges the batteries from 1/3 to full capacity in about 3-4 hrs. With a full fuel tank the generator will run continuously approximately 30 hrs and leave approximately 175 mile driving range in tank. Show less

I have owned this RV since it was new and have enjoyed every minute with it. Great driving vehicle feels like driving a pickup, very maneuverable. lots of room for two adults and two kids. Good boon docker, batteries last 4 days and charge in a few hours with the built in generator. lots of room for storage under unit. Added a few extras like storage trunk, bike rack and motorcycle trailer so it suits my needs depending on my trip whether golfing, camping with grandchildren or touring the mountains on my motorcycle. WE downsized from a Class A 37' but still enjoyed the size and comfort. We are amazed how many sleeping spaces there are.... even compared to the larger class A. The wife can now help drive since she would not drive the bus...!!! Only regret is getting used to a Queen again. Got spoiled with the King Size bed and suite with the extra half bath. Show less

A comfortable RV to drive and to live in during short or long trips. Plenty of room to relax even with guest. Outside TV and radio is very nice for tailgating or watching the NASCAR race on Sunday afternoon. Yes the shower is small but I figured out the shower moves to clean my 6'4" 220 lb self and have hot water left over. Show less

With airbags driving experience is good. I like the layout bed is comfortable. Forest River gives you a good bang for your buck. Show less
