Owning and using the 2014 Forest River Cedar Creek Silverback has been one of the best decisions we've ever made about RVing. We've made trips from PA to CA and back with ease. The AC did quit on us, but it was under warranty and the manufacturer replaced it quickly. We liked the openness of the floor plan, allowing TV watching and enjoying the coziness of the fireplace from the comfy LazyBoy recliners, the dining chairs, and the couch with a pull-out queen-sized bed (which was also comfortable in itself). The bathroom is small, but we wouldn't trade it for the extra space in the bedroom. You can actually stand up and walk around the queen bed. A walk-in closet covering almost one whole wall has a light inside it and hook-ups for washer and dryer. We did not use the w/d feature ourselves so cannot speak to its use. There is also a smaller tv mounted above the dresser in the bedroom. There are many cupboards and a pantry-pullout with shelving for dishes, food, etc in the main living area. A bonus - a central vacuum system! There is also lots of storage room under the camper itself. We added solar panels to the roof and 4 new batteries for the times we would dry-camp. It has a 65-gallon water tank which came in handy during dry-camping. It also tows easily. All in all, we would recommend this 5th wheel without hesitation.

This "one owner" "one of a kind" 5th wheel has been such a pleasure for our family. I had it built with all the comforts for a seasoned RV'er. It has a 6 point hydraulic self levelling system which I added to this model. The 5500 Watt Onan propane generator allows you to enjoy all options anywhere, low hours. The 5th wheel is very spacious and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the rear bunk house feature which sleeps 4 comfortably. It also has a bunk house washroom which has its own black tank. The kitchen living room has so much room! and includes an air bed that self- inflates and deflates. The living room is highlighted by a fireplace, tv and self adjusting Dish and massive leather sofa. The master bedroom has lots of storage and room to get around its Queen size Trump Home matress. Comes with combo washer dryer unit. The custom paint job has kept it looking brand new. The coach is equipped with concealed and insulated under belly with heated tanks The air bag superglide makes it a pleasure to pull. We are looking to sell and down size. If you have a family that is looking for a great purchase on a spacious beautiful unit, this is the one for you.

The RV itself is good. However I can't recommend them because of very poor customer service. I have an electrical problem. I went through a dealer to get a wiring schematic. The dealer forwarded the email in which Forest River refused to give me one. A subsequent phone call to the dealer revealed that Forest River will not supply the mechanics with one. This makes it more time consuming for them to find and correct problems which means more expense for the consumer. This is a far cry from having any concern for their consumers. They talk a mean ball game and have a beautiful website that leads you to believe they care about you. When the rubber meets the road they could care less. A wiring schematic can not be of a proprietary concern. Thus it is a clear indication of their lack of concern for consumers. The dealer in this case tried their best to accomodate me.
