Having 4 TV's is a little over the top. The exterior entertainment system is super. Having a couch that sleeps 2 adults comfortably and a second restroom makes life easier for all. We drove it 4,500 km from the dealership to our home which gave us a very good sense for it's pros and cons.
The decision was made based on the styling, floor plan, overall features and quality.
As with most (if not all) RV's there are things that needed warranty work.
The electric step motor, chassis heater blower, CO2 detector and chassis A/C refrigerant.
We actually went to Fleetwood's Service Centre in Decatur to have all the work done and our dealership covered the costs.
Fleetwood's Service Techs and the dealership were excellent from start to finish.
The RV has been a pleasure to drive, the layout is perfect for our lifestyle and we frequently receive compliments on the appearance.
The gas mileage is actually 15% better than our previous Class C with a Ford V10 which was an unexpected bonus.
We do have an issue with a humming sound coming from the Surge Guard Transfer Switch but haven't determined if it is normal or not.
Looking forward to a 3 month month trip this January.
Sorry to hear Fleetwood are not building the Southwind model in 2018.
