We have owned this motorhome for two years and have really enjoyed its great floor plan and it's over-all reliability. This coach remains one of the most popular class A models from Winnebago. The two large living room/kitchen slide-outs makes for a very large open living space. 6-7 adults can easily sit in the living room. The kitchen has a nice slide out counter top with drawers that expands you for prep area. The kitchen table also expands for additional seating. The other great feature about the 40U model is the two bathroom setup. This allow two people to get ready at the same time. Our coach has been very reliable. I only had a circuit board failure on on of the 3 AC units. I was able to get a part from a Winnebago dealer and install it myself. The ride on this coach is very comfortable. I would highly recommend this manufacture and model of this coach.

The best driving vehicle I have ever driven. I even feel safe with my wife driving as it is like driving a large SUV. The Mercedes seats are so comfortable you can drive for hours without tiring. and the arm rests adjust in 1/2 inch increments which makes it even more comfortable. Everything is 1st class down to the hardwood cupboards and accessibility to everything. It was perfect for the two of us. It's a dream come true, made for two. The island bed is comfy with three inch memory foam mattress pad and the Sunbeam electric mattress pad I had installed which has separate controls for preheat, 20 heat settings and auto off, makes sleeping a dream. The two slides are nice and opens it up when used. Love the fact it doesn't have a separate couch that takes up lots of room and is cause for the RV to be several feet longer. The double seat is the dinette/convertible bed and has seat belts for a couple extra passengers. The two of us are retired so there was no need for a giant, gas guzzling rig that's hard to handle. This 25.5 foot RV fit the need perfectly. We enjoyed it for 3 years and hope the next owner will have as much fun as we did.

We purchased our 42E from Lazy Days brand new and we could not be happier with the coach. We were told when we purchased the coach to expect at least 30 things to be on a "punch list" within the first year as most motor coaches will have little things go wrong that will need adjustments. We literally needed maybe 3-5 things adjusted such as some doors and a lighting fixture and one roller shade in the bedroom. All of our appliances, systems and major components have been running wonderfully since we got the coach. The one complaint we had was the door lock system which took 3 times to the authorized dealer to get the connectors straightened out. Other than that, it has been great. We have been from Maine to Florida and have stayed in many different types of campgrounds and had no issues. We have had wonderful support from our authorized dealers on scheduled maintenance and they have been able to service us quickly to get us on the road and ready for the season. We love the layout of this coach and having the kitchen in the middle has been a huge benefit. We LOVE the air bed and honestly can say it is the most comfortable bed we have EVER owned. (Sometimes I wish we could take it into the house!) I would not hesitate to purchase another Winnebago again.

I purchase this coach new in June, 2013 from Camping World of Dothan, AL. This is our third class A and we knew what we were looking for. We loved the color scheme and the floorplan and options pretty much met all of our desires and expectations. We experienced the usual growing pains expected with a new coach of this complexity but frankly, both Freightliner and Winnebago were able to get the bugs worked out to our satisfaction. Winnebago actually upgraded the Schwintek slide mechanism on the RH forward slide long after the warranty had expired. It has been a very positive experience.

Traveling in an RV was a total new experience for me. I had camped in tents as a girl, never in “luxury campers”. The Winnebago Tour is a home away from home for us. It is very comfortable with a full refrigerator and spacious galley, enough space for everything. The dishwasher was a big plus for me, as much as I like to cook, I dislike the cleanup. Camping in State Parks with only 30 AMP services was not a problem, the power alternating system on the Winnebago kept us very comfortable. The TV satellite system we installed worked great wherever we camped, so we could both watch our favorites no problem. The super large shower with sky light was really a treat, having on demand hot water made a hit for us. Need that at home! No grousing over who used all the hot water. The only thing I didn’t care about was the dark king size bedspread that came with the coach, I swapped it out for a lighter color that I preferred. Like most women, I like clothes and shoes, the large closet and dresser took everything with ease, my honey even had some space! The air ride of the coach is really amazing, we traveled along in great comfort. Traveling through the mountains with the 450 Turbo Cummins Diesel was easy.

We never had a problem that wasn't addressed by the company, immediately and taken care of. Driving is a dream, great power, it'll tow anything, with ease. Wherever we park, we are the star of the show! It's fun. I highly recommend it. You'll love it.
