2012 Fleetwood reviews

The best RV I have ever owned. The quality is far beyond what you can buy from 2017 and newer. I have owned 3 RVs before this one, Class C, Tow behind, and 5th wheel tow behind. All models were newer than 2017. The 2012 Fleetwood Expeditions are built solid with thick walls constructed with metal frame, plywood panels and fiberglass outer shell. The roof is 1 piece fiberglass on top of 1/2 inch plywood around metal frames. I weigh 260 lbs and walk on my RV roof all the time with no issues, no deflection. Gas lines are copper pipes with flared fittings to last. All electrical wiring for 120 VAC is 12 AWG AND 14 AWG Romex, residential wiring. All Inverter connections are quick snap connections. Access panels located in specific areas to access plumbing, gas and electrical lines for easy access fir repairs/replacements. Original hot water heater and gas heaters still work and were recently serviced. I have driven this rig in northeast US, during heavy rain and snow storms, with no issues. Camped in 95F and 10F weather with no cooling or freezing issues. The rig is heavy, with Freightliner classy, built like a tank. The cummins diesel easily pulls my 10K car hauler trailer with 2022 Ram 1500 truck loaded. Show less

We moved into our 38' RV after Hurricane Michael hit. A lot of people told us, "you really have to love your spouse when you're in that tight space RV". Really? We never felt cramped, never. We had 3 slide out, 2 bathrooms, a reclining loveseat, an office space on the dash with my work computer (I worked from home), another computer on the table, a convection oven, 4 burner stove, a washer/dryer combo, 2 cats and an abundant amount of storage - bothbinside and out. It was like living in a "tiny house". Everything had its place and everything was put in its place after using that item. We would tow a 14' enclosed trailer with a motorcycle in it everywhere we went. It was a smooth ride. The 2 A/C's kept us so cool in the summer and we only used 1 portable small heater that kept us very warm, sometimes too warm in the winter. It was well insulated. Show less

More than satisfied with the motorhome. Very reliable - solid well built in over all excellent condition. Generator and all slides work well. No real dislikes. Have owned for 5 years and must be sold due to health issues Show less

It is easy to drive, because of it's size, not to big and not to small, it's mostly suitable for 2 people or at most 4. Gas mileage is good, due to the Diesel engine(15 to 16 mpg).Can't go wrong with this RV. Show less

This RV is a money pit. At 23k miles the motor blew, at 22k miles the fuel module harness frayed and shut the engine while I was driving, at 21k miles the gas fill line hose cracked, at 18k miles the TV antenna handle broke off, at 23,800 miles the stairs and slide out stopped working (all batteries in the RV were replaced at 17k miles), the TV cable line to the TV doesn't work (I have to run the cable through the window to the TV)at 19k miles the fridge on/off lights panel stopped working. Ltd storage for cross country trips. The good: it drives fine and it's comfortable inside. Show less

This RV will be missed. Nothing better than spending Quality time with your own family. Bunk beds, 3 cooling zones, 4 TVs along with 3 separate entrances to the restroom. This rv is perfect for a family of up to 8 with room to throw an additional air mattress on the floor totaling 10 people. I am going to miss it but its something we dont use as much now the kids are grown. If I could do it over again I never would have purchased the gas model and would have purchased this diesel right off the bat. You can NOT even compare the 2. Show less

It may sound crazy because I am selling mine, but I really can't believe you could get a better coach. We had an unexpected giant expense (IRS) otherwise this baby would not be on the market. There is nothing I would change about the coach. period. Show less

We have taken several state camping trips and two cross country. The unit sets up easily and is very comfortable. Our experience has hooked us on this type of travel. We are going to purchase a even larger unit and do many more trips in the future. This RV handles very well in traffic and we have a jeep that we pull behind. I keep it indoors when not in use. It's a awesome RV. With the 3 ACs it keeps it cool down south. Love the mid Living space which gives you very home like feel. Awesome storage space for all your camping needs. They drive like a car and speaking of cars when towing a car you never even know it's back there until you look at the camera. Show less

Purchased 2/29/16. Leapt on Leap day. Love it. We had two cribs (pack&play and slightly smaller one for g'kids. Still room to get by. Daughter slept on diskette to be close for nursing. SIL in over-cab. G'parents in Queen at back. BUT, since I'm a belly/side sleeper, I cut some of the wall out and boxed it in so I could let my foot or toes hang over the end of the short-queen.
