The Fleetwood Excursion 40E is a great RV for living out of full time, travelling across the country or taking out for the weekend. A lot of room and very comfortable for all occupants. Winterized. Central vacuum and leather sofas make clean-up easy. The shower is spacious. A lot of storage space throughout. You can pack a lot into this RV, inside and out. Even has a pullout pantry for the kitchen. Full size refrigerator. One and a half baths is fantastic and a must for any family! Outdoor kitchen, grill and entertainment is very nice. Easily tows our large SUV.

My wife and I have owned this coach for about 4 years. We have traveled 40 states in about 20,000 miles. The half bath and the large Master bath are real standouts for us. We have spent 15 plus comfortable, enjoyable month on the road with all the comforts of home. The Cat 9 on a Spartan Chassis with Air ride make it a dream on the road. The corTEX flooring throughout is much easier to maintain than carpets. The 4 large storage bay roll-outs in the full coach width bay is convenient and provides room for everything including the kitchen sink. Awning and slide out toppers are about 2 years old. 4 door refrigerator chilling components were replaced this year. Oil and filters were changer this spring and coach batteries replaced. Tires have about 20K miles on them. Obviously the coach is out of warranty, but I have experienced no problems getting parts from the factory and other vendors.

This coach has a great floor plan with it's one and a half baths is great for long trips. It has a very good heating and cooling system and has a large side by side refrigerator with ice maker. Setup is easy with the location of the hookup stations and the automatic self leveling jacks. The 400HP caterpillar engine and the 6 speed Allison transmission provides all the power you would ever need in the mountains or towing. The Spartan chassis, with its air ride, gives a smooth ride and is not bothered by passing trucks or the wind. The Spartan chassis makes maintenance a breeze with all the components located inside the rear compartment on the passenger side. In 2015 we spent 3 months and 5500 miles in this coach without a single problem of any kind. In 2016 we spent 4 months and 6700 miles in this coach with out a single problem. Had surgery this year but hope to get back on the road some day.
