RV Trader suggests that a seller write a review indicating what they liked about the unit being sold to help buyer make an informed decision. Features that we like about the 2001 Monaco Signature Centurian include: - The 40 - foot size is still maneuverable in many state and county parks. - The tag axle keeps the unit stable when driving in high cross-winds and around semis - The 200 - gal. fuel tank lets you stock up at lower diesel prices when you find them - Propane option fridge / freezer keeps running during genset "quiet time" in some parks - The slide- outs being only on driver's side maximize patio / picnic space at narrow sites - The oversized cabinets make storage very easy. - Even with the slides in there is plenty of room to walk through the unit - Easy to use the kitchen, table and bathroom without extending slides; makes lunchtime stops pleasant and quicker. - 500 HP engine goes up mountains faster than semis and RV that must "gear down"

We have had this unit for four years. Out side of on very cold days while driving it is hard to keep warm we have not had any problems. We were spoiled to our Bigfoot class C that had an automotive heater in the rear of the coach that kept everything very warm. Every unit will have something that needs some attention from time to time, that's just part of RVing. Very Happy with Monaco. Looking to trade and will not look at anything other than Monaco or Holiday Rambler.

Very comfortable motorhome, with the aqua hot system you never run out of hot water. It can run off diesel or electric. Nice open floor plan, lovely corian countertops with corian double sink in the kitchen and single sink in bath. Love the roomy shower. The toilet area is in a room by itself giving you plenty of privacy. Tows our Ford Edge great and the steering system we installed makes driving a pleasure. Plenty of storage inside as well as the compartments underneath. Dinette has extra leaf in the table with 4 chairs, 2 of them fold for storage. Plenty of closet and drawer space. The combination washer/dryer works very well. All the comforts of home with 2 flat screen tv’s , Bose surround system with 6 cd changer, move-n-go satellite and satellite radio in dash. Very well maintained motorhome and in great shape for its age. We have added a lot of options like new shocks, Samsung house refrigerator, new hd tv antenna, new radiator, fairly new tires, 3 new air conditioner covers, everything works really well and ready to go.
