I have had towables before but now I want to have a motorhome which will be my home for myself and my 4 little ones. I will need a car trailer as the ford mustang I own is rear wheel drive. Where did I get my towing experence? My husband and I were concessionaires we traveled all over. I loved that life but he passed and I went home to take care of family. Now all I have to worry about is me and my 4 little ones, the 4 legged ones.

during the past 20 years its been to San Diego,Key West, Prince Edward isle,Edmonton Alb, Fairbanks,Alaska. Rocky Point,Mexico. Its on its 3rd set of Tires. on its 2nd Satellite, since Direct TV made the 1st receiver obsolete. the original air conditioner covers died after ten years, so i replaced them. we are on our 3rd set of house & diesel batteries. one remarkable thing is the Dometic Elite Side by side Refrigerator/ freezer is still functioning. During the winter months, I keep an electric oil filled radiator heater, set at 50 degrees to protect the leather couches & front seats. While in Rocky point,a local business provides a washing & hand waxing service for seventy five dollars. they also made & installed a new slideout awning for $125.this is my 2nd american eagle.I try to purchase a 5or6 year old luxurious motorhome for about one half of the original cost.this way I get five to eight years of great service then I sell it.one other thing, with its dual diesel fill points{left & right side] there is less waiting to replenish the tanks.even after 20 years the factory still provides great advice if you have any problems.

We liked the twin beds because of my restless leg syndrome. It's a comfortable camper with plenty of room. We got a bigger Class A when we decided to go to full time travel. Stuck with the Fleetwood, no big complaints in 10 years.

We purchased the unit Dec 2013(now is Jan 2019). It had 19,000 miles on it. We have put an additional 34,000 on it. We have loved the unit. The only real problem is with the Chassis which is by Chevrolet. The "Automatic Parking Brake" is a MAJOR disaster. There is no permanent fix for the problem and due to the age, parts are becoming difficult to locate and some are no longer available (not made any more). The FORD Chassis does NOT have this issue. Otherwise we love it. It has plenty of room and easily sleep 4 grown adults (full sized adults). The corner shower is one of the main reasons we purchased this unit. The corner shower has more room for adults than the rectangular tub/showers in others. Plenty of closet and drawer space for clothes when traveling with 4 adults on long trips (4 - 6 weeks).

If you plan to tow try a vehicle with a bigger motor.
