Mitchell Motor Coaches custom made each 1997 V series with highest quality of materials. The V-38 models were well over powered for their size and weight. Powered by a Caterpillar C-12, 380 hp, 1250 ft lbs and getting 10 to 12 mpg. The V-38 custom chassis rides smoothly on HWH auto leveling air IFS front & Rockwell parallel trailing link suspension. Super smooth ride & quiet! The V-38 model were made with thermal pane windows, sound proofing, insulated heated storage, hydronic heating, 10 or 12 KW diesel generators, solid oak and marble floors, glass shower, cedar closets, combo washer/dryer, and the custom list is endless. Mitchell Motor Coaches sold for well over $450,000 new in 1997. All the 1997 V-38 Coaches were built to endure 1,000,000 road miles.
