Beware you won't be towing or carrying very much weight with the FORD F53 or CHEVY CHASSIS. Recommend a 'G' rates tire on the FORD chassis. Airbag assist is also a must have as well a steering stabilizer. The interior is as quiet as a Lincoln Continental and rides almost as soft. Unbelievable for a gas motorhome. Especially a Class A gas.

We have been very happy with the Pace Arrow RV! With the tag axle, it drives really well on the highway, and large trucks passing by either direction had little to no effect on us. Being an older model, it was manufactured really well, not like many new models today (2021). My only complaint is that the grey water tank is too small. If two people take a shower, it has to be drained. Also, the blank tank gauge never worked, but I understand that most RV blank tank gauges don't work well also. It's been great for us with our two children, even as they got older. We never felt cramped with 4 people in it. We never towed a vehicle with it, and being an 8 cylinder, I'm not sure I'd recommend that, either. I'd definitely recommend a Fleetwood RV to anyone looking! Note: My 3-star factory warranty/support rating is only because I could not choose N/A, as we never had factory support or warranty - bought it used.

I currently own a 26ft 1997 Ford Tioga Montara that I've been fixing up for the last two years.I just bought a 2014 24 ft Freedom Elite & there is no comparison. The Ford Tioga Montara has a better floor plan hands down.I can LIVE in the Montara easily if needed. It's bright w/ BIG windows.I LOVE the way the back bedroom really is apart from the main living area. It's very cozy to call it a night and retire to an actual bedroom instead of crawling up into a corner bed.The Montara has REAL WOOD cabinets. You can paint them, sand them. The newest RV I bought is all pressboard!I have looked high and low for a modern RV with a floor plan to equal the Montara's & quality to equal Fleetwood & haven't found anything built in the last 10 years that comes close. My Montara has many luxuries including ducted A/C which REALLY surpasses the ridiculous ceiling RV of the Freedom Elite that just blasts air in all directions & has no thermostat.(So uncivilized!).Yes,w/ a 1997 vehicle I've had to do repairs incl replacing the entire rear axle recently. But I just can't part with this thing.I love it!I wish they made them like this now but they are made so cheaply nowadays. The only thing that disappoints me about my Montara is that there IS going to be some delamination to repair,no way around it.But even my 2014 has a spot of that so-RV-ing- it's always going to be "something". You just have to accept that part and love the rest!

I love the floor plan, it's very roomie. I do wish it had more water and holding space (60 gal. /30 and/30) as we did a lot of dry camping. The awning is in perfect cond (looks new). There's lots of inside and outside storage. The siding is fiberglass and looks good the only flaw is some of the graphics are cracked. We had no warranty/support so I can't rate that.
